RE: bwp: rendezvous and i'm through - Enoki - Jan 26, 2016

Enoki will call for help, but if none are able to come she will try to wear the boar out enough to make her escape. Since this is backdated in early October I think only @Angier @Elettra @Morganna @Skoll @Hecate @Adele @Nicolò @Pickerel were apart of the pack adult wise.

A smug smirk tugged at the corner of Enoki's panting lips as her smoldering amber gaze watched the barreling beast continue forward long after the magpie pelted woman dodged to safety. A little slow in the brain these putrid creatures are. Yet any thoughts of basking in her moment of glory for outmaneuvering the swine was short lived as the bristle haired body wheeled itself around to face the duo of wolves. The glint of something feral glistening in those beady black eyes before a high pitched war cry clawed at the piebald woman's ears. God, did they always have to make such awful noises?!

Ebony lips drew back to reveal a threatening snarl, the skin of her muzzle wrinkling in distate. This thing just wouldn't give up, would it? Narrowing her line of sight upon the charging hog, forelimbs separated briefly in preparation to spring away again, but how long could she keep this game of cat and mouse up? There was no way she could bring down this animal by herself and surely that white coated female wouldn't dare move an inch from her safety zone to help. A growl rumbled within her chest as the thoughts of what to do churned like the undertow of an ocean. She could call for backup, but Enoki highly doubted this wild hog would give her enough time to make such a move if she was kept on her toes constantly just trying to avoid those razor sharp tusk.

Tossing her head over her shoulder quickly toward the marred face woman, a sharp tone of voice called out. "Are you going to help, or just sit there and look pretty?" There was little time to wait for an answer as the corner of her eye caught a flash of brown. Quickly the Timber wolf sprang off to the side like before, sprinting across the expanse of the rise until a safe distance was secured. As swift as she was she couldn't hold this up forever. Eventually she would be depleted of energy and that would easily spell out disaster. Enoki needed help and fast. If the boar was as slow to connect the dots she missed this time as the last, just maybe she could get a howl out in time. It was worth a shot.

Keeping a watchful eye on the quarry, a dark hued skull angled back to release an urgent call to the entirety of the pack informing them that any able bodied wolf would be needed immediately to dispose of this threat to their home. Swiftly she clipped the call short, a silent prayer going up to the skies that somebody, anybody had heard her call. In the mean time it was up to her to deal with this nuisance. Widening her stance to prepare for the next charge that was bound to come, her skull lowered to protect her throat. It was all a waiting game now to see if backup would arrive to help the woman out.

RE: bwp: rendezvous and i'm through - Adele - Jan 31, 2016

Her head immediately lifted and her paws slowed as she heard the urgent call of her friend. She had been out on a brief hunt, and was now coming back home succesful but she wasted no time in dropping her prize within nearby brush and turning in the direction of the call. The Archer woman realized that Enoki was in clear distress and only hoped that she arrived there in time for whatever or whoever was causing her trouble. Her long limbs stretching to the max, eating up the distance between her and her pack mate, the woman wondered if anybody else from the pack had decided to join as well. But there was no time for another howl, so the woman only pushed herself harder.

The chocolate huntress was no practiced sprinter and so when she finally arrived at the scene, she was panting slightly. But she wasted no time in catching all the details she could as quickly as she could. Swine, with very sharp tusks and two women, one friend and one stranger. Her sandy orbs caught Enoki's as she tried to devise a strategy to take down this annoying beast. Quickly regaining energy, Adele snapped at the beast. Maybe if they all attacked from different sides this could work...Thinking as she moved, Adele stood and locked her form, waiting patiently for it to charge. Was this a stupid animal, or clever swine? It was time for the fun to begin.

Permission granted to PP Athena leaving the scene. Without the proper numbers needed to kill the boar, they will try to escape.

Sweet relief came to the piebald female's aid in the form of a chocolaty pelted woman, deep amber orbs recognizing the fellow huntress and friend, Adele, the moment her gaze locked with the lighter sandy pair. Enoki knew the skills the Archer woman had beneath that sleek pelt and that knowledge alone helped to dispel some of the worry that had become pent up in the muscles of her shoulders. Now, if the trio of females could manage to work together there was a chance for them to escape this encounter unscathed and perhaps even earn themselves a hunk of swine to carry home, but that would require convincing that marred woman to partake.

Casting her smoldering gaze toward the general location she knew the colorless wolf to be hunkered down, ebony jaws dropped in disbelief at what they found, ebony audits drowning out the sound of Adele's snaps toward the hog. Nothing, she was gone! Flabbergasted, a new snarl wrinkled the skin covering her snout in response to the cowardly woman deciding to flee and leave the Ridge subordinates in a similar predicament all over again. With only two wolves against a lumbering hog, there was no hope of subduing this filthy beast. This was stringently a get the hell out of dodge mission now. Emitting a frustrated growl at the situation and feeling the energy continue to seep from her body, an ivory dipped tail lashed like a wild viper at her flanks.

"Looks like it's just us against it thanks to that coward. We're outnumbered here, Adele." Hope was fading fast unless miraculously another pack mate heeded her distress call. If not, the two would have to find a way to distract the boar long enough to make a swift escape. There was no other choice.

Due to failure to respond to the pig with at least 3 wolves for this round, 1 cache of Willow Ridge was destroyed. You can push the repercussions of the cache being gone into the future, if you would like. The thread is now over. If you have made at least 3 posts you may claim Random Event, Pack Activity, and if your wolf fought the boar Guardian demonstration points (since this is a staff played character). Thank you all for your participation! Feel free to contact the Spirit of Wildwood if you would like another thread.
