The other Artemieva arrived shortly after he had; Lachesis offered him a soft nod in greeting before his gaze fell to his co-lead once more. She remained silent for a moment, presumably to see if either Aleksei or Lekalta would arrive, before her soft voice filled the clearing. He was pleased to hear that this was not a business meeting and that nothing bad had happened. The ghost still worried that the Whitestone rogue might still be lurking in the lowlands; he had increased his own patrols on the border to ensure that the exiled wolf steered clear of Hearthwood (and their puppies).

“That sounds like a wonderful idea,” he chimed in once Kisla was finished, his tail wagging softly behind him. XIX was not sure what Lilya wanted to do. His infirmary was certainly big enough for the two of them (plus little ones) but they weren’t really together together, so he did not know if the sparrow would want to den with him. He would prefer to have her close but it was ultimately her choice.

His chartreuse gaze fell to the ebony Baranski, his features softening. Lachesis had been worried about her since the discovery of her pregnancy, for she had isolated herself from the rest of the pack. He did not want her to think that she was burden. She was still a river wolf, regardless of the situation that she was in. They would be here for both her and her children, no matter what.
