Flicking his tail, Askan gestured for Lenka to follow.  As to whether she would be a true asset to the Shallows was yet to be seen, but for now he was willing to let her rest up. He was well aware that being a loner around this time of year was anything but easy, Reyes might have made it look so but it wasn't. And being so young he imagined she had her own share of troubles.

Though she didn't say as such Askan could see that she was keen on filling her belly. So with that he nodded and turned to face the treeline, there was a cache nearby, it probably had something edible in there.

"Come, let's get you something to eat." What she did after that was up to her, but for now he was willing to share her company for just a little longer.
