I'm Here Again - Deacon - Aug 12, 2014 Felt like this needed to be started. Deacon is home! @Morganna @Angier @Rowan @Xetor @Elettra @Sorya @Castiel @Greer @Jaromir. Morganna should maybe post first but if Mother/Father or members are at the border they would come firstly too<3
[dohtml] The boy was eager to return back to his beloved Willow Ridge. All those wolves he had met in those scary woods were scary like the woods they lived in. Especially that Naira woman he met briefly before being cast away with @Myrrhis. He was happy when his sister found him but upset that Mrrrh had lied to him about taking him home. The whole time on his way home he was left with a glare in his eyes and a silent attitude. Especially a sour taste in his mouth from the lies. The usual talkative prince of the Willows had gone silent in his own thoughts of returning home to his family once again. When his paws reached those familiar smelling borders he couldn't help but let out a high pitched howl for his family to come and get him. When the call was done the boy sat to the ground next to his escort tired. He was hungry, tired, and worn. His tail wagged overly making his rear do a small wiggle too. The Lyall Archer was silently excited to see his mother and father again. But he wondered how they would react. Would they be furious with him and send him straight to the den? Or would they embrace him and keep him close to them at all times now? The boy could only be left to wonder what might happen in this meeting. Good or bad he was at least excited to be in the willows again. RE: I'm Here Again - Elettra - Aug 12, 2014 El was excite to be here. <3 Pretending Morganna is already in the area, as you had... [dohtml] The moment her eyes landed on her baby boy, her heart skipped a beat. A gasp took over her as a very heavy weight was lifted from her shoulders. She had been to scared, sorrowful and furious with the hand she had been dealt that the mother was obviously a nervous wreck, skinnier then she had otherwise been before and obviously unkept. She was tired, this much showed in her eyes, even as a deep smile came over her as she rushed towards her child. RE: I'm Here Again - Morganna - Aug 13, 2014 [dohtml] The girl had been on quite the adventure. Her encounter with @Quick had left and impression and the cowardice of the pup napper still rubbed her the wrong way. The trip home had been a quiet one for the most part and far slower than the yearling would have liked, but accommodate for her half siblings smaller limbs she did. Refusing to carry him as others had done she could only hope the distances covered left an ache in his limbs that would see him den-bound for the next week at least. That would give them time to deal with other matters. It was no surprise her mother was the first to arrive and in all honesty it had only been concern for her sanity that Morganna had taken on the task of seeking out the small pup. Basking in her mothers praise she quickly closed the distance between them, every inch the eager to please pup, her shoulders slightly hunched as her rear lowered closer to the ground so she could tip her muzzle back and nibble at her mothers jaw. She breathed the familiar scent in deeply before moving away to stand at her regular height, ears swiveling and eyes scanning their surrounds, on high alert for any other pack members who may have come to Deacon’s call. Facing away from her mother and half sibling she didn’t even have to try and disguise the grin that crossed her face as Elettra rounded on her son with a displeased tone. Even if the long walk home hadn’t left enough of an impression, she had no doubt the boy would not be wandering too far in the near future. RE: I'm Here Again - Angier - Aug 15, 2014 Hot on Elettra's tail, Angier also came running to the sound of Deacon's howl. As fast as his paws could carry him, tracing his mate's trail step for step, he raced through the willows; and, as soon as he had caught sight of a familiar pair of black-pelted wolves - his step-daughter Morganna with Deacon alongside her - he felt the relief swallow him whole. He came forward to stand beside Elettra and to smile at the yearling in silent praise and thanks. A brief nod from him, ought to have been enough for the both of them, after knowing full well that Morganna did not particularly enjoy his company. Even at a reunion such as this one. RE: I'm Here Again - Deacon - Aug 16, 2014 [dohtml] Deacon watched as his mother, and father, ran right up to him. Covering him in love yet also giving out harsh tones to him. Not speaking for a moment he merely curled up tiny underneath the shelter of his mother and father, king and queen. He just kept himself hushed until the words would be done. Looking to Morganna the best he could he was also looking for a bit of help in this situation. Perhaps she would be able to help describe it better. Yet when he did manage to sneak a glance his half sister was facing away from the three. "Woods, mean lady," Deacon paused for a moment racking his small brain for anything else he could say that might help. "Mrrrh." He hoped that listing these things would at least get a better idea across to his family. Or at least give them some type of visual. A story of sorts possibly brewing in their heads. Looking around the returned Willow Ridge prince wondered where Skull was. Maybe Skull would be able to slightly help in this situation. Though for the moment, Skull or no Skull, it seemed it was left up to Deacon. The Archer Lyall buried his face into his mother's leg. "Mum and Dad." He whispered barely as if hoping he would receive both of their touches. Right now he was only sure of Elettra's motherly touch being given. He was a bit of a selfish boy at the minute though so he also let out a small whine inviting his father to come near. RE: I'm Here Again - Elettra - Aug 18, 2014 [dohtml]
Re: - Spirit of Wildwood - Aug 18, 2014 There is a family of deer nearby. Hunt Opportunity RE: I'm Here Again - Xetor - Aug 30, 2014 [dohtml]
He had all but given up hope for Deacon to be found. Xetor thought that the youngster had been carried off by an eagle long ago. When the boy had first disappeared Tor had hypothesized a few idea's that would explain the loss of the pup. From rogues stealing the boy off to the wanderlust that gripped all children, Xetor logically picked through the details presented to him and came up with one answer.
Deacon was long gone...dead.
Though the young Archer male had found himself looking needlessly for the child out of familial obligation. He had to not give up searching even if he could see only darkness as the ending to the pups sad story.
While not looking after the pups at the main den, Xetor found himself looking for Deacon. Although, he would also collect herbs wherever he went searching for the young Archer heir. It kept him busy while he bored himself searching for something he likely wouldn't find. Instead he found the areas where each medicinal herb that lodged themselves into his memory would grow in this new land. Knowing where to find the plants would help greatly if the stores ever became low.
Tor was on his way back now from such a foray. His jaws held large elm tree leaf filled with clumps of arnica while the young Archer's legs flew him through the territory.
It was then that his keen nose caught their scents, despite being right next to the noxious herbs. Xetor swerved to meet the wolves gathering to see what was going on. He could smell the pack with his mouthful of cloy leaf and flowers, but the the single pup whom they were all greeting.
As he arrived on scene, Tor slowed to a stop viewing Elettra, Angier, Morganna, and one of the pups. Though as his grayish eyes looked over the younger boy the males heart skipped a beat.
"By the gods... Deacon!" Tor dropped his herbs and stepped halfway towards the child, complete disbelief and awe on his face. "Where was he found?" This question came after scenting the air in front of Deacon curiously while keeping himself lowered beneath Elettra's watchful gaze. His own gleeful orbs twitched between the faces gathered hoping someone would answer him. [/dohtml] RE: I'm Here Again - Angier - Sep 15, 2014 "Mum and Dad." Deacon addressed them, following the sentiment with a soft whine to Angier. The Lyall's heartstrings became taut and almost immediately he inched closer, coming to stand by Elettra's side as he craned his head downward to dote a small gesture of affection upon the boy. Just a gentle nudge to the prince's temple with the tip of his nose and a small lick to the ear tip he could reach. As his mate came to soothe Deacon after bringing to light that there had been some "mean lady" in the "woods," Angier let out a brief growl. He had been so very, very lucky to have had his son recovered from the wilderness of Relic Lore. To even think that Deacon could have been hurt, while well away from his family's watch, had him reeling. RE: I'm Here Again - Morganna - Sep 19, 2014 [dohtml] Morganna Archer Although she had no reason to dislike @Angier, since the previous spring she couldn’t help but feel displaced on both their parts by what he and her mother shared. She appreciated that he didn’t force his affections on her and kept one ear turned toward the conversation that was happening at her back and the other trained on the surrounding woods. She didn’t bring the boy this far just to have him snatched up again, although the risks of such a thing happening with with the rest of the pack so close by left those odds sitting somewhere between slim and none. As her larger... what was he now? Uncle? appeared rather suddenly, but the young woman did not lower her stance at his approach. If anything it put her even more on edge. She could not deny that the timing of these dark distant relatives had not seemed rather opportune and she wasn’t yet convinced they hadn’t been the ones to try and dispose of the boy in order to make moves to claim her mothers -one day to be her-throne themselves. With a frustrated flick of her tail and a twitch of her lip she was about to try and imitate her brother Skoll and vanish into the Willow Trees that bordered her home. It had been a long and arduous journey and the girl was finding herself bordering on hangry, but no sooner had she lifted a paw to take her leave then Angier threw her in it. Forcing her tongue against the roof of her mouth, the tip of her pink tongue poking out between dark lips her eyes narrowed with momentary resentment before she looked her step-father in the eye, her words clipped short like what little fuse remained on her patience. “-E was by the falls. Stank of rotting things. She was too cowardly to show ‘erself, but I ran inta one of her pack mates prior who was headed this way wi’ a peace offerin’. Told me ‘e was north an’ the one wif-im had been kicked out... Dunno ‘ow much truth there was to it though...” She finished with a shrug. It had been a hard decision to not charge into the bushes after the boys captor but there was too much risk of the child getting underfoot. Feeling she had conveyed all that was needed for now, she turned her attention back towards the heart of her home. “Now if nobody ‘as any objections...” she continued, expecting a rally of questions to follow her disclosure with little intention to answer them until she was fed and rested, “I’m starved.” {Morganna Exit unless you want to tackle her and question her further} |
