Inna Baranski
This is an all welcome thread and please don't worry about matching word count.  It takes place a day after this thread 4/20.

The snow crunched under her paws as she picked her way across the tundra, she was traveling home. Inna had only been gone from Hearthwood a couple of days but with her mother's declaration she hoped it wasn't too long. She didn't want to give Kisla any more reason to be upset with her than she already had but the time away had been needed. The couple of days had given her some time to think. It had become clear to the ebony Baranski that she needed to take the time to figure things out. She was tired of the moping and the self pity. She was more than aware that it wasn't like her to be so down all the time. She blamed part of it on her pregnancy knowing it had changed her in some ways. She also blamed it on the fact that everything seemed to be going wrong for her, she knew it was her fault.

Pack law had been broken and yes, Aleksei had tore her down until she wasn't sure what was left, what pieces of her character we're worth saving. With her pups getting closer to the day when they would enter the world she had to get some semblance of herself back. Inna needed to be that confident strong wolf that she'd been before she'd returned after her time with Lorcan.

He was part of the problem, she'd let him promise her support and believed he would keep that promise. However, now it seemed that he was leaving her and the pups but who could she really be mad at but herself. Just like with Aleksei, her mother, Lachesis could she really be mad at them for their behavior toward her? Inna felt she couldn't because she had been the one to break pack law. The ebony Baranski knew just how lucky she was that she wasn't currently fending for herself and her pups. She knew he was right though, she couldn't keep feeling guilty for what had happened. She needed to move on do what she could to make up for it and be the pack member she had once been.

It would take time though, she knew that and she was willing to give it as much time as was needed, they were her family and her pack and for them she would wait to see if their trust in her could be restored. As for Lorcan, she couldn't deny him another chance to be the father their pups needed, she would not give up on him either. At the same time however, she could not continue to give him chances if it meant her children would be hurt. He either had to make a commitment to them or not there couldn't be an in between.

Her thoughts had carried her closer to home though her pace had not been quick but it had worked up a thirst and a hunger. The young Baranski came across a small pool of water that had thawed in the afternoon sun that she stopped to drink from. Once her thirst had been quenched she set about looking for something to eat. One last chase shouldn't be too hard on her that it would harm the pups and what she wouldn't do right then for a nice plump rabbit. So she set out in search of a trail that she quickly found. With nose to the ground she followed the scent until it brought her to her prize. A small group of about four rabbits grazing on what grass they could find. She waited observing them and making her plan.
