AW! Set a little bit after his acceptance

He had a lot to explore! The cream man that had accepted him had been kind and friendly. It seemed his honesty had worked in his favor for once. His nose was held low to the ground as he weaved about the area, his tail frantically wagging behind him. There wasn't an abundance of scents but there were enough to get him a bit giddy. These were creatures he could actually build a bond with. He wouldn't just see them in a fleeting passing or talk to them once and never see them again.

This was all so exciting. Regi would get to be apart of something bigger again. He heard the soft movement of water up ahead and couldn't help himself from bursting into a clumsy sprint. Oh, how childish he would look to any watchers but he didn't care about that. There was so much to do and explore! He'd start with the creek first.

His paws causing a disruption in the cooling water. It seemed he had unknowingly chosen a pretty cool place to live. He would never get to experience all the little details but even in a blurred vision, the place was beautiful. He let out a lighthearted bark to both invite anyone nearby and express his ultimate joy with his new home.

Trying to gain a new routine wasn't that hard. It was a lot like her old one, but she spent a bit more time around the borders and outside them. Training at ever opportunity Ice would teach her. But, she had so much more to learn. She liked to think she could be intimidating, and stop a threat in its tracks. There was a lot more to it, and she needed to know how to handle not just herself but the different situations an enemy could bring.

Hmm, where as Ice? She had thought of finding him yet again, when a different wolf who caught her attention. Someone who was rather noisy in their frolicking, and it just to big to be any of her siblings. A young, white wolf came to mind, but not a name. So it would probably be best if she knew it, and maybe a bit more about him. He was after all living here with the rest of her family. Guardians didn't just protect against outside threats.

Against her better judgement, she let her paws drift toward the creek. Even if she was cringing at his barks of invitation. A friendly wolf was a lot easier to get to know, they usually did all the talking. She could handle that. Besides, she tried to tell herself, a friend couldn't be all bad. Even if they might not remain.

It was with only a moment of hesitation to smooth her facade did she step into the creek. Making her way over to him, with a soft bark of her own. Here goes nothing.

It excited him right down to his core when a call answered back. He spun around less than graceful to be greeted by the form of a dark blur. For a second he could have pinned the figure as Mari but her scent would tell him otherwise. "Hellos!" He eagerly called out nonetheless. Meeting new faces (or new blurs) was now important for him - especially those that belonged to his now packmates.

"I'ms new heres." The small pale man explained as his tail beat at the air behind him. He was glad that his joyous bark had not gone to waste. Perhaps it was by luck that the dark female had been around or perhaps she had come to investigate who had been calling at the borders only a bit ago. Either way, he welcomed her company with wide open arms. Or open paws. Something along those lines.

Ah, he was forgetting something! "I'ms Reginald or Regi." He offered the dark form a wide smile at his short little greeting. The male wanted to make sure he was making good first impressions. While he saw himself sticking around until who knew when he didn't actually know how long he'd be around here and he figured he might as well make the best of his stay here.
Heads up - this wolf is near-sighted!

Maybe, it was part of her training, but she had a hard time not jerking away from his quick turnabout. She managed, finding some sort of half smile to adorn her muzzle. If the simple gesture would force her tight muscles to loosen, her body to go off of high alert. Why she did wonder what it might be like to spar with him by his build, she doubted it was about to happen.

"Yes," she managed to agree of his newness, feeling like his age was not telling truth. Noses didn't lie. Maybe, he had a young spirit, and she liked to think she could learn something from everyone. Even if finding happiness and glee in the smallest things seemed far fetched. She had out grown those days.

Kindly, he gave her a name, and she had no reason to hold hers. This was how one went about going to acquaintances and reliable pack mates wasn't it?  "I'm Lila," she offered, keeping it short. Did she need to tell him Aponi was her mother? She wasn't a guardian, but wanted to be? No, that information she doubted was of interest. She really didn't like telling things about herself. She liked to keep things to herself.

"How are you liking the Bend Regi?" She asked, curious, and also trying to be polite. "Have you been giving a tour? I guess it seems you've found the creek. There's also loads of good places to catch a snack, and hide them too." She knew she couldn't play in the water with this guy, not necessarily fond of it in the first place.

She had a rather easy name, really. Four little letters. Without hesitation, the newest member of Oak Tree Bend tested out her name with his foreign tongue. "Lila," His voice was soft and kind as he pinned the name to the dark figure. Should be easy enough to remember. Serach was a cream figure, Lila was a dark figure, and everyone else would be figured out soon enough.

"Very nice!" He chirped with glee as he got out of the creek. "No tour yets but Is got time to learns the place." A large, childish grin took over his pale face as his tail kept a soft wave behind him. Being friendly came pretty easy to him. Sure the chunky boy could lose his temper or fight tooth and claw but that was only when he needed to. These wolves were his pack mates now and Regi felt like he should show his comfort around them.

The arctic male took a few small steps forward as his head tilted. Closer he could spot a few things better. Like that "birthmark" of white on her chest. Another thing to commit to memory. "Mind showings me around?" Reginald asked as silver eyes sought out her dark face.

If he was actually as sweet as he seemed she imagined they could get along. If she could get use to his light. Pleased, it wasn't hard to smile, and wag her tail in turn.Though she  didn't know anyone reason for wolves not to like it here. She had yet to come across anything like the Bend. The blue mist entwined the great oaks that stood like silent sentries. Keeping those too faint of heart away, and bringing those who would be pulled by its mystery within.

The muscles in her limbs drew taunt as he came closer, but she held to her smile, giving a swift nod. "What would you like to see first?" Now that she had offered she couldn't withdraw, and they would need to start somewhere.

"I should probably have started with are you hungry?" Unable, and not exactly wanting to hold still, she motioned with raise of her snout, and began a fast paced walk. Movement would keep her thoughts in line. There was something she noticed. He was a bit different from other wolves she'd met. His ears, and coat. "If you don't think it rude of me, where is it you came from Regi?"
