Meletē "Muses Synesthesia"
Muses had not returned to the falls since joining Fallen Tree Cove, but was happy enough to explore the surrounding area. Reluctant to leave the high passes of the mountainous terrain, she kept to the tree lined slopes, avoiding the foothills at the base. A river way extended from the lake near her new home, undoubtedly culminating into the falls where she had first met Kajika. Up ahead, she could see a clearing, the trees giving way to the wide opening of a grotto, where the river dipped into and eventually disappeared. Her footfalls slow, and the pale she-wolf glanced over her shoulder, back towards the direction of home. It was barely noon, and though thin clouds obscured the sunlight, she knew she would have plenty of time left before night fall. If nothing was more interesting, then she would simply run all the way back home, before anyone knew she was missing.

She had nothing to fear, for a day trip would earn her no reprimand. Lifting her snout, she parted her jaws and scented the air, wondering if perhaps she could scavenge something along the way. Bringing back something for the pack would be a bonus. There was a peculiar odour in the air, one that she could not quite figure out. Nonetheless, it drew her, closer still to the grotto, and to the sound of cascading water.

Blackmoore Northcrest
There was nothing special about today for Blackmoore. Nor it was for yesterday or any day since the magnificent storms that had passed over the lands of the Lore sometime ago. As it turned out, the storms had been the heralds of the summer's dawn - as over the course of these days one could feel the noticeable change in the air. Was it smells? Temperature? All of it? It was hard to describe but the dark male had tangible feeling that not too long from now the leaves will start raining down, that colors will change into more rustic palette. It will get colder too. Much, more colder as the time will pass on.

Why then his paws were taking him north? Why he was coming vis-a-vis to winter that will soon come? If asked, Blackmoore would most likely choke up trying to find the answer today. He was yet to realize his perseverance and tendency to face adversities in order to find the limits of his strength. Thoughts like these didn't boggled his mind today however. Right now the male was entirely focused on a small pool of water that formed on a stream under the waterfall. His green eyes scanned the surface looking for any sign of a bigger fish lingering under the surface. Fishing wasn't the male's forte, which would be easily noticeable for anyone taking a look at him right now. Moore was quite peckish however.
