Aleister Vuesain

OOC! Out of character comments here

Relic Lore. The last place the storm wanted to be, but the guilt that filled him dragged him here to face his fears, to face his family for once. However, the guilt could convince the lad all it wanted, but Aleister was determined to stray far away from his homeland. His family was disgusted by him. The Vuesain boy was a deserter, no better than the members his father warned him about. His father. His heart hurt just at the thought of him, the only real, genuine emotion he had felt in a long time. Masked behind a facade of uncaring and nomadic tendencies, Al didn't need anyone to survive. He did just alright on his own.

Though, the lost Vuesain boy had found a pack to take him in, however, he didn't grow attached. Keeping a ten foot pole between him and the other members, he was able to live alone, though survive more comfortably within the pack. He was content, unlike Aleister spotted his brother or who he thought was his brother upon a hill overlooking him. They had made eye contact, but before Al could muster up the courage to call out to him, he was gone. He wasn't even sure it was his litter-mate, but the Vuesain took off after him. Losing the trail, he was at a lost of what to do. Having been drawn so close to the Lore, perhaps it was time to face his family again. Perhaps it was a sign.

As he traveled through the lowlands, the agouti male kept his head low, trying to not attract attention to himself. He wasn't in the mood much for company. Not like he ever was really.

Everything was so different.

Anaia had thought everything was going to be okay, but she just couldn’t make herself useful.  She couldn’t find the will to learn anymore.  So, like the coward she was, she slunk away from the pack that had offered her refuge from those she had run away from.  She hadn’t even said goodbye, not wanting to see the disappointment in Kajika’s eyes when she said goodbye. She felt like she’d betrayed him. How could she face him?

She was so… worthless.

So she wandered, not paying attention to where she was going or who she ran into.  When she was hungry, she fished or hunted.  She didn’t catch much, but it was enough to survive.  She’d lost a lot of weight, and her fur became disheveled. It’s once brilliant snowy color was now muted, unhealthy and limp.

When she finally came to the realization that she was on the fast track to death, Anaia finally turned and began heading back north.  She was terribly lost and had no hope of finding Fallen Tree Cove again.  She wasn’t sure she wanted to.  She’d liked it there, but didn’t feel like she really belonged. She didn’t know how far she’d wandered anyway.

And there was Kajika…

She tried not to think about him too much.

She didn’t really have a destination in mind; she just needed some help.

It wasn’t until she hit the lowlands that the pale girl realized just how far she’d come.  She recognized the area – this was a place she’d never wanted to be again. She was still far enough from the Monadnock that she doubted she’d run into anyone she knew, but it was probably best to turn around. Again.

So she did, fleeing blindly in her attempt to put as much distance between herself and that place as she could.

Wham!

The girl was sent careening backwards with a yelp, nose stinging from the impact.  She rubbed her muzzle with a whimper, then glanced up to see what she’d hit.

Another wolf!

Anaia scrambled to her feet, apologies tumbling from her mouth before she was off the ground.  “I’m sorry- I didn’t see you- I didn’t mean- Are you okay?” She gushed, approaching the stranger with her tail tucked and ears flat, trying to make sure she hadn’t accidentally hurt him.

Aleister Vuesain

OOC! I'm sorry, he is so rude >.<

And here Aleister was once again, minding his own business, traveling through the lowlands with head hung low after meeting the big fluff ball a few hours ago. The Vuesain had hoped he wouldn't meet another soul with the vast tundra. He didn't think he was that unlucky to manage to find the other two wolves traveling within this barren and desolate terrain as he was, but somehow he had the worst luck he could imagine.

Perhaps it was the fact he let his head hang and that he really wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, he was only occupied on his destination to really care about anything else. Though he wasn't exactly sure what his true destination was, but getting out of this barren wasteland was on the top of his list. As he trotted gracefully through the lands, he was suddening thrown into a tumble as something or someone hit him at a blindside in his hindquarters. Grunting loudly as he landed with the air knocked out of him, but before he could regain whatever composure he had, apologies exploded from this woman. Groaning to himself, he cursed his luck and turned to face the woman who must had been blind.

Mismatched gaze looking up the woman with such irritation that he almost didn't control the outburst that wanted to scream at the woman for being so stupid. How could someone run into someone else in the barren wasteland? How was it even possible? Clenching his jaw, the Vuesain rose to his feet as she asked if he was okay. Of course he was okay? It took much more to take him down, but something had to be wrong with her. "I'm fine," he snapped quickly, before he shook what dirt littered his fur from the fall. Turning sharply, the agouti male moved away from the white female as he continued on in the direction he had been going.

She hadn’t meant to run into him.  She simply hadn’t been paying attention to where she was going. The snowy girl supposed that was always what got her into trouble… she just ran without looking. Never thinking.

Anaia flinched as the man snapped at her and turned away, continuing moving. She thought about running on her own way, but there was something about him that seemed… familiar.  She couldn’t imagine what it might be.  She had never met him before.

“Wait!” She called, scrambling after him.  It would be better to stick with someone in this area anyway, right? That way if she ran into them, she might be a little safer. Besides, he seemed to be heading out of the lowlands, by the direction he was traveling. “What’s your name?” She asked, staying a little ways back in case he decided she was being too annoying. He was a fair bit larger than her, after all.  “I’m Anaia.  I didn’t mean to run into you; I wasn’t paying attention. I’m sorry.” She apologized again. She wasn’t exactly very big, but it still had to hurt to have someone else ram into you at a full run.  She wanted to make sure he was okay; the last thing she needed was another enemy.

Aleister Vuesain

OOC! Out of character comments here

He was really terrible at this whole manners thing. Perhaps Vespertio and Namid didn't discipline him enough as a child, oh wait, they didn't ahve much time to before the Vuesain boy ran off after that terrible mistake of a girl and now he was here again foregetting any manners his parents had tried to instill in him. Sighing to himself as the girl yelled at him to stop, doing just so, though he took a moment to mentally prepare himself. Play nice...

Turning to face the white dove, as she asked for his name. A bit reluctant at first until the girl went on to introduce herself and to apologize again for running into him. Perhaps he should give her a chance, everyone does stupid things, even him sometimes. Though he doubted he'd run into someone in a barren wasteland. "Aleister Vuesain." He answered, his mismatched gaze meeting hers.

"What makes in you in such a rush?" Inwardly groaning to himself at starting a conversation, but he was trying to play nice and starting conversations was good. Right?

To her relief, the stranger didn’t snap at her again.  She was able to catch up with him, but still walked a short distance away to give him space. He turned to face her, mismatched eyes giving her pause. Why did they look so familiar?

Then he spoke his name, and Anaia’s heart nearly stopped.  She froze, and had they still been moving she probably would have tripped over her own paws.  “Vuesain?” She asked, proud that she was able to speak without a stutter. That explained it.  He looked like her former alphas.  He looked like Vespertio, but the eyes… though different colors, Namid’s eyes didn’t match either.  The only thing she could think was that he was their son, but if that was the case, why was he out here?

They have to be so mad! The thought of Kajika’s reaction to her disappearance caused a pang to shoot through her. She’d betrayed his trust… he had to hate her.

“A-are you related to the Cove?” She managed to get out, though her words got mixed up on the way past her teeth.

Anaia was so preoccupied by her own racing thoughts that she almost missed his question.  She glanced fearfully over her shoulder. “I… I know one of the packs here, and we…” She had to swallow back her fear. “They don’t want to see me.”
