October 13th, Night, Foggy, 43°F, 6°C, right outside of WR

He was upset and anyone with eyes would have been able to tell that. His lips pulled downward and his brown furrowed together firmly. He was not fully aware where his sister had gone off too. She hadn't told him anything, didn't even seem to have told Elle anything. Romanov wanted to go look for her but he didn't like going far from home and he couldn't just leave his family like that. They were small but still together. He could still curl up next to his mom and dad in the comfort of their den.

Tonight he had slipped away, though. Instead of being in the den he was roaming in the dark. A fog was hanging around his legs as he teetered about right outside of his home. He wouldn't go far, he never did, but he just wanted to give a little look. "Addy?" He whispered softly into the cold air. Amber eyes squinted as he stared through the dark, wondering where she could be. What if she wasn't in the willows anymore? He could feel his chest tighten with an unwelcomed feeling.

It only took moments for his eyes to fill with too much moisture, the fur around them dampening. A sob was building in his chest but he didn't let it out - couldn't let it out.

'Cause I've been on the run so long they can't find me

This land was so varied in its landscapes. Far from the densly wooded hills of the barrows or the high rocky walls of the rift, the world outside... well it was a breath of fresh air. She was enjoying the western side of the mountain, not just for the possibilities it presented where Naira's family were concerned, but also for the wide expanses of open woods and meadows. Tonight, she found herself taking a midnight stroll through a stand of willows, their billowing canopies waving softly in the breeze, moonlight painting them as silver ghosts among the fog.

Addy? the youthful voice was barely a whisper and her steps slowed, a few steps to the side bringing her under the cover of a drooping silver screen. What was a child doing out at this hour of night? Perhaps she should give him a little scare so he knew not to wander again after the sun had gone down. After all, it wasn't safe, and she had no trouble playing the bad guy. A low growl left her chest, ear turned in the direction she thought the child should be. She would try to walk parallel to the child, using the trees and the fog as her cover. It seemed someone else was in on the game too, the loud crack of a branch underfoot ringing in the distance away from them both (if she had to guess she'd think it was probably deer given the startled grunt that followed it).

His sobs hadn't escaped before a growl was heard in the distance. Addy wouldn't growl at him, would she? He tried to blink away the tears that had built up in his eyes wondering who was out there. "Deron, that isn't funny." It was easy to pin the blame on that grump even if he hadn't seen much of him lately. "Where's Addy?" He asked before a snapping sound made his head swing to the side. He didn't like this game. It was dark and the fog and trees provided coverage from whoever was lurking out there.

He huffed before gently taking a step forward. Amber eyes squinted as he tried to pick out a figure that had made the first sound. He was looking for the older male which made anything else striking almost easy to look over and ignore...

Romanov was trying to rule out who it might be. If it was one of his parents surely they would have said something. Ravenna would have said something too, or maybe even nudged him right along back into their home. He didn't know much about Leotie but she seemed nice from their one meeting.

Where's Addy? What a pitiful sound. She could feel her lip lifting in disgust, if the child was bold enough to be out here on a night like this then surely his parents had taught him the ways of the world. Those that vanished before their time, well... Maybe it was time to show her face? Rushing forward through the fog she came close enough to stir the air along the childs flank before retreating to the cover of the fog once more, a low voice whispering "Mortuus," in her wake.

Would he dare to come after her now? Or would be run screaming back to his parents? Her every sense strained for a sign one way or the other.
