Andromeda Valrorys
AW!! || Late afternoon, Cloudy, 30°F (-1°C)

The large female wasn't sure where she was. The land had been unforgiving to her leaving the blue-eyed wolf dirty and tired. Lucky for her she had found herself in a foliaged place. With her knowledge on plants she knew the ones around her wasn't friendly but they tempted her ever so slightly.

She shook her head and ignored the plants, walking slowly down a worn path. Andy's mind wandered wondering who - or what - might have been here before. There were no strong scents as an indication of life. Stale scents only told of what was here in recent history and none of the scents smelt like something that could make these paths. The large Valrorys felt like that should have been a good sign but it only worried her for a long list of reasons.

With a huff, she found somewhere to stop for a rest. She wouldn't be very long for the area was unfamiliar and possibly dangerous. Just long enough for her paws to feel somewhat normal again. Andromeda closed her eyes as she took in a deep breath. She would have to return north again one day. That pale girl, the one who very well could have been her niece, still haunted her mind.

Yuka Thorben
As the days passed with not so much as any glimpse of another wolf, the anger that was dormant within the skilled assassin began to grow. Despite the abandonment he had faced in the past, all Yuka really yearned for in life was a family. Whether that be with one other, or a pack. The only place he had really felt at home was with his band and then it had been him that decided to leave, on good terms, of course. When the time came, he supposed he could always go seek them out again - continue what he did best. Something was keeping the russet-hued man tied to the lore and until that pull ceased, he knew he could not leave. Had his mother not described such a similar thing every time she mentioned why she came to these lands? Damnit! There was his temper again.

The loner could never stay in a place for too long and was soon climbing his way up the mountains, the former home of one Broken Timber Pines pack. The man did not move once he reached the lake, teal-flecked eyes taking in the scenery around him. It was cooler up here and for the first time since he entered the lore, he felt like he could breathe again. Amber orbs closed and he just breathed, doing his best to reduce whatever flare of anger remained and not bothering to notice the presence of another.

She likely could have missed the male had she not got the glimpse of russet against all the silver tones. Almost foolishly she thought it was a floating head before realizing that was indeed his body. Such a strange contrasting of fur.

Andromeda had to stop herself from staring any longer. It was rude and besides, what if she got spotted dumbfounded like some kind of child?

"'Scuse me," She called out softly towards the stranger. He didn't seem like a threat. Nor did he smell like the pack that was set up around here. Maybe he was another loner just passing through like herself.
