Special Events 2021

1st January 2021 — 31st December 2021

Revival! — We got the band back together!
Relic Lore has effectively, since we made the announcement in February 2018, been a ghost town. Wolves have left, and moved on with their lives. Perhaps the coyotes resurfaced and drove them all away (Remember that was the last BWP? I didn't, right away). However, now with the help of some wild life conservationists wolves have been reintroduce to the area. The humans left without a trace and will not be returning. We would like to invite you to bring any character you like, back, as long as their history includes what they've been doing for the last 2 years outside of Relic Lore. (Perhaps they had a brief stint on the failed Wildwood Coast?)
Cub Lottery '21 — A new fun way to decide litters
Staff implemented a new system for deciding how many pups were in each litter, as well as deciding loner litters. The Cub Lottery! RoW banded together for a fun night of leaving fates to the dice gods and the results were the litters for the 2021 season.

Special Events 2022

1st January 2022 — 31st December 2022

RoW Revival Birthday — Celebrating 1 year since return from Haitus!
In celebration of another year on RoW, the Staff hosted goodie bags filled with fun IC prompts. There was also a word search created with 30 different words and phrases which each tie in to the past year, the above word search will feature a different list each time it is loaded.
RoW Revival Yearbook — Celebrating 1 year since return from Haitus!
As per tradition this will be the eighth year Relic Lore has had its yearbook, filled with member-submitted quotes, nominated wolves, pack highlights, favorite memories, and a summary of the whole year at a glance.
Who's Thirsty? — Board-Wide Plot
This spring things feel a little....dryer than normal doesn't it? RoW has now entered a drought that affects all territories! Small springs have completely dried up, and even the lakes and larger rivers have run almost completely down into the mud. Currently, only the largest lakes still have water: Turtleback Lake, Secluded Springs, Secret Falls, Bramble Falls, Lost Lake, and Iridescent Lagoon. The wolves of the lore are going to have to think creatively to stop themselves from becoming dehydrated!

In addition to drops now being rarer, more large bodies of water have now completely dried up. The only locations with water still in them are Secluded Springs, Lost Lake, Bramble Falls, and Turtleback Lake, while they continue to hold their water for now, they are at less than half their normal spring time volume. Who is to say whether they continue to dry or are able to hold onto their reserves?

Staff sincerely hope that everyone had fun with this year's BWP! As of August 14th, 2022 the drought had thankfully come to an end, and normal rain and weather has returned to the region as we begin to slowly head towards the fall. But! We aren't done with suprises yet! Do you remember the flooding that occured during the slight drought reprieve? Well, now that the flooding has subsided new passages have opened up to the west, revealing a new portion of our map!
