Most Heartwarming: everybody sees you're blown apart
A chance encounter turns into a night of escapism for two wolves with a knack for acting, who have grown stagnant in their daily routines. Though no names are ever exchanged, the chemistry is clear between them, and their play and banter threatens to build into something more but they're afraid to let it. In the end it is nothing but an innocent dream, and all that remains as reminder is a single twig of Belladonna. But will Merys decipher the parting message, and will their paths ever cross again? All of RoW have been following them with baited breath, and we'll continue to watch from the edges of our seats, hoping to see more of these two in the future.
Most Heartbreaking: on the path unwinding
Everybody was excited for Naia and Lachesis' pups to arrive, who could ever have expected this joy to turn into tragedy. Yet, after extended labor, the first time mother is overcome with fatigue, and while the medic father tries his hardest to save her, Naia eventually dies, after bringing just two pups into the world. All of Hearthwood River, and the entirety of RoW was shocked by this horrific development, and many tears were shed for the faithful scout, her now motherless children, and, of course, poor Nineteen who seems to never catch a break.
Best RE Thread: lost in skies of powdered gold
The vibrant northern lights create the perfect backdrop for this reunion between young friends. Both harrowed by grief, they seek out each other to find stability in a life of turmoil. But though stories are exchanged of their troubles, silence dominates their rendezvous, and this seems to be what binds them together, more so than fate. It's been half a year since Greer and Kyna's first meeting, and their connection has only grown stronger. We've all adored this introvert couple from the start, and will be on the lookout for any future development in their relationship.
Favorite Thread: till the love runs out
There is no bigger hero than a father to his daughter, especially when he tells her stories. And no stories are as good as the real tails of the past, and the very origins of Relic Lore. Not only Sahalie, but all of RoW perked our ears when Triell told of his childhood and the events that brought Oak Tree Bend to Spectral Woods, all the way from Hidden Tree. It is a testament to just how far the Tainn's have come, and a beautiful image of how their legacy continues in the new generation.
