Rise of Sunshine - Jaysyek - Jun 03, 2011 puppies are leaving the tree! :) i'd imagine theo/arlette are in this if they want. all the GH puppies can post, as well as the pack to meet them. bit of powerplay hope that doesn't bother you guys. Rise of Sunshine - Theo - Jun 04, 2011
Rise of Sunshine - Trisden - Jun 05, 2011 The notion of being outside wasn't quite so exciting to the small Trisden, who eyed her mother and the enthusiastic Theo with childish trepidation. It was warm and safe in here, and she always hated it when her mother left. There was some comfort to be found in the notion that, this time, they could go with her - but that didn't mean she had to like it. Rise of Sunshine - Prosper - Jun 05, 2011 OOC: YAY PUPPIES! :D \o/ Prosper had listened to his mothers warnings each time he'd tried to leave the den, tried to explore outside their small hollow tree. That wasn't to say that he didn't have fun inside the hollow, oh no! He had four brothers and sisters to play with after all! His puppy pelt was still relatively fuzzy and mostly one color - though it was fading to a light cream near his paws. His eyes had yet to lose their puppy blue color - but there were hints in his orbs of them darkening just a bit around the edge of the iris.. Not much, nor was it obvious unless one chose to look closely. Having realized a relatively short time ago that he was the oldest of the five puppies, Prosper emulated his mother a bit in the want to protect them. After all! He was going to be big and strong like his dad, right? He had to protect them! That.. and it made him feel important even though he was still just as little as the rest.. So when his pearly mother told them it was time to leave the den, he yapped happily and scrabbled between her paws - hot on the heels of the white brother, Theo. Once outside, his bravado had diminished slightly - the sunlight that hit his face giving him pause as he blinked painfully at it. What in hte world was THAT?! The chest vibrating sound his mother cut loose with made him look at her in envy and wonder, his eyes widening as he watched what she was doing. He could do that to! With his thin, whip-like tail wiggling hard enough to send his bottom to wiggling, Prosper planted his feet as close to his mothers posture as he could and lifted his head. At first, the 'howl' was merely a breath of air wheezing from his lungs.. no.. that couldn't be right.. So instead, the oldest of the puppies inhaled noisily before holding it as if it would build power.. then letting it escape. As he tried to howl a second time, he jumped forwards, his tail sticking straight up over his back. Unfortunately, he hadn't watched where his feet were when he inhaled - and the attempt to howl sent him tumbling over his over-large paws...Sending him into a rather UNadult like tumble into the dirt. Drat... Seeing his sister bounding away made him wriggle clumsily to his feet before bounding towards Trisden, yapping all the way.. He wanted to attempt to bowl her over and wrestle! It was wide open out here..They wouldn't step on someones tail or feet or face by playing out here! Rise of Sunshine - Arlette - Jun 05, 2011 ooc: Arlette... -shakes head- So, today was the day Arlette, her brothers, and sisters were finally allowed to enjoy the outdoors? Her excitement was beyond the moon at the thought of finally seeing what really lay outside of the hollow tree she had called home for her entire life (or so she thought). Yet, unlike Theo, Lettie managed to contain herself and wait for her mother to first step into this “outside” as they called it. Trisden, who had started out quite uneasy at the idea of going into the unknown, had found comfort in being near their mother and was the second to emerge into the light. The small white female sat with a rather bemused look as the two ran around yapping and celebrating like they had just gotten some large present. Maybe she wasn’t that excited. Never the less, the next to follow her family’s heels was her eldest brother Prosper. It seemed it had come to be her turn. The young lady pursed her lips whilst narrowing those big golden puppy eyes as she waltzed like a big girl into the light of day. Oh goodness, she couldn’t see a thing! As her eyes finally adjusted to the light and the panic of being temporarily blind had worn off, Arlette could now fully see what the outdoors had to offer her. Perhaps she should have been more excited! Her developing muscles tensed as her surroundings were taken in; every tree, every rock, and every flower was now hers. That was the end of it. Having kept a small distance between her and the other pups, sitting nobly next to mother just like she were her Beta rather than her daughter, Arlette was probably the most surprised to hear such a strange call emit from the Grizzly Hollow leader’s maw. She admittedly lost her balance at the rather loud sound, but regained her composure shortly after to join in on this wonderful song. Now, she wasn’t quite as skilled a vocalist as her fair mother; no her call sounded rather horrid, dipping drastically from one tone to the next. But hey, who was counting? Rise of Sunshine - Hocus - Jun 05, 2011 With neither the excitement of Theo, nor the fledgling cynicism of his sister Trisden, merely a curiosity as yet unformed by experience, Hocus did not immediately react to his mother‘s call. Prosper’s need to explore the outside hadn’t rubbed off and Hocus was patient, as far as a pup could be, trusting his mother when she said they couldn’t explore. The den was interesting enough anyway, with company as diverse, and uncivilised, as a pup could wish for, provided they weren’t trying to sleep thank you very much. Hocus didn’t expect much from the outside anyway, bar a slightly larger version of the den. Although maybe the larger den would be just as crowded with as many pups? Oh he’d never get time to sleep! Well if Trisden was interested in the outside then he probably should be as well… Rise of Sunshine - Jaysyek - Jun 08, 2011 okay if you want a posting order say, if not feel free to post. and sorry if this post is odd i tried to cover stuff in here time wise with everyone :) Rise of Sunshine - Vlarindara - Jun 09, 2011 [dohtml] After having delivered Alex's pups, Vlarindara had been careful to remain on the outskirts of Grizzly Hollow lands...watching for trouble as she once had - even though she was no longer a second. She'd hunted from time to time, but was rather careful to leave her catches for someone to carry towards Jaysyeks whelping den - She was understanding if the other white wolf didn't want to see her. In her time away from the pups - the odd gift that had allowed Theo and Arlette to survive the trip to Grizzly Hollow had grown heavy, then lighter and lighter until she was fairly certain it was gone...but...nice to know possible. The howl lifted her attention towards where she knew Jaysyek's general location was... and began towards it warily. Vlarindara moved slowly when she got within hearing distance of the gathering, stopping long enough to gather her courage before stepping closer through the underbrush. Her tail was tucked tightly beneath her legs, amber eyes focused on the ground as she advanced towards the heterochromic leader, everything about her posture submissive, trying to be as nonthreatening as she could...to show she meant no harm to the young pups that were gallivanting around. Coming just within the clearing, she settled to her haunches, hunkering down to make herself as small as possible - but still staying close enough to see the pups, but far enough away that if Jaysyek chose to chase her - she could escape with little further injury. The glaring gash across her nose had healed in the last weeks, but it still left the dark red line across her muzzle.. the wound on her neck had finally begun healing - the wrinkled pink skin beginning to grow over with white fur. Amber eyes shifted to watch the pups - easily picking out Theo and Arlette's much older forms, a soft smile crossing her face at how healthy they were before her attention moved to the darker pelts of the alpha's true offspring. All of the pups seemed in good health and good spirits. She was pleased to see that the rocky start of Alexanders pups had stabilized and grown stronger. "They.....they-.." She swallowed hard, shifting her attention towards the watchful mother warily before looking away. "They're beautiful...You did well.." The white female could remember Jaysyeks' fears of being a bad mother...fears unfounded, it seemed. Vlarindara let her gaze wander the pups fuzzy, bungling forms once more before she began inching backwards. "I..just had to see your children....I..I'll leave you to your pack, now..' It was true - she didn't think of herself as a member of the Wolves residing in the forest. Why would she? The white femme was lucky enough to have been allowed to recuperate on their lands - let alone allowed near the pups. [/dohtml] OOC: Had to throw Vlar in here....XD -gets ready to duck- Rise of Sunshine - Borden - Jun 14, 2011 The happy sounds of youthful yipping following Jaysyek's howl made Borden smile with not just with his black-lined lips but with his heart as well as his soul. Wanting to observe for a while before he emerged onto the scene, he crept up behind a cedar tree to catch sight of five bumbling puppies as they clambered after Jaysyek and each other. He chuckled silently to himself and took a step to stride into view; however, the sight of another white wolf caught his eye. Vlarindara... Oh, good. His tail wagged; hopefully seeing her would ease his beloved's worries over her long, sudden absence. Rise of Sunshine - Prosper - Jun 14, 2011 The words of his mother brought his attention away from where he was attempting to pounce his sister to watch her.. Oh! With a little wiggle of his butt, the dark pelted puppy yapped as he 'charged' ahead at light speed! In reality, it was barely a stumbling trot, but to him it was certainly fast! After all, there was a dangerous enemy in the clearing he had to protect his family from! ...It was a very dangerous Looking Stick... A small puttering growl preceded his attack on the hapless piece of wood - that is until the rustling in the bushes made him freeze. The arrival of another white face emerging from the recesses of the forest quite truthfully startled him nearly right out of his skin! A high pitched squawk and Prosper turned around to toddle a few steps away before turning back to face the intruder, itty bitty milk teeth flashing as he did his best to look rather imposing -his fur all stuck out in every direction. Honestly! He was simply defending his mother and siblings! She hadn't scared him one bit! The soft cracks of another turned his attention to a masked wolf he had seen a few times. Baby blue eyes brightened as he abandoned his 'assault' on both dangerous branch and the scarred white wolf that had come to see them... To charge over to his father - and attempt to pounce on his forepaw....Which only resulted in him crashing into the rather strong limb...and tumbling over backwards where his feet flailed to get him upright again... Once more vertical, the oldest of the pups bounded around Bordens feet, playing an intricate game of tag with his tail - his fathers legs becoming road blocks that he had to avoid lest he fall on his backside again. The game of tag lasted only about three hops...before he decided that trying to chew on Bordens paw was *MUCH* more fun! |
