Great Thickness - Rebecca - Nov 24, 2011 Black wolf struggled her way through branches that were growing along the ground and actually all over the place. It was getting hot even thought the weather was cool, but all this struggling was tough. Forcing her way between two branches groing on top of eachc other, she came to a small clearing. Rebecca decided to rest in there. It seemed to be only spot nearby that wasn't owergrown. Huffing and pufing young female settled to lie down, then rolled to her side. Breething heavily she closed her eyes, ears still moving around, listening for danger. Only birds singing peacefully. Lush comfort ran throughout Reba's body. All worries started to feel less important. She should be going to look for den, but it was much nicer to just kept lying here, few sunshines shining to her body through the thick leaf roof. Slowly Reba started to fell asleep, soon breathing calmly, whole body relaxed, in deep, black sleep. Eyes widened as shock jolted her body. She had fell asleep?! Not in any safe spot that's sure! Slowly she moved her head to see where the noise had came from. When she saw the brute standing there, looking at her. Frightened squeak escaped from her mouth and caused a whole parade of emotions in her eyes. 'Good job, now he thinks you're some weak little puppy! Yeah, you're afraid, but don't you stupid wolf go and show it to everyone!'. Rebecca had a hard conversation with herself in her mind.If she had learned something from the years of living alone, it was NEVER show your fear!!!. Now she had broken that rule and fear had locked her body. Only thing she could do was to watch and wait. What would the brute do? Kill her? Eat her? Leave her alone? Well, probably not at least leave her alone if he had stopped and even seen the "trouble" to wake her up. Oh why did she ever lied down? Why did she fall asleep? If she just would kept going and find some good place to sleep, some safe den, everything could be differently! Not beeing able to help herself, Reba started to think the time her family had passed away. The same "if just, if I wouldn't" think had beeing going on in her mind at that time. It had nearly broke her. No, now wasn't the time to feel sorry for herself. All fear swiped away Rebecca looked directly in the eyes of the brute, but didn't stood up. Small growl came from her throat. Great Thickness - Ruiko - Nov 24, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] Great Thickness - Rebecca - Nov 24, 2011 Rebecca stood up. She was smaller and weaker than the brute, but that wasn't going to frighten her anymore. She didn't even try to look large, no need to show off her powers when she didn't have any. Her tail swinging slowly behind he as she started to walk closer, head on the level of shoulders, teeth shown, but not growling. Reba never attacked, but in the many fights she had been in... She never fleed. Reba stopped in the front of the brute and lifted her head, ready to attack if he would. Still, only feelings you could see from her eyes were joy and playfullness. "Hi" she said hiding her teeth, but keeping her body launch ready position. Great Thickness - Ruiko - Nov 24, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] Great Thickness - Rebecca - Nov 24, 2011 Rebecca wagged her tail. She had done the right things and said the right words. Good. "Rebecca", Reba introduced herself same way as the brute had. Then her eyes locked to the twicthing ear, but when she noticed it was only a ear she relaxed her body, still keeping close eye on the brute. Life is curious. One day you're alone and happy, next day you meet someone and you're feelings are all messed up. That's what happened to Reba. Part of her wished taht this encouter would end quickly and she would let in peace to continue her solitary life. On the other hand, she was a wolf, wolves usually live in packs, and sometimes, seldom, Reba missed company. The hardness of choosing always hit hardly, this time was no different. It was enough to make her head drop and bring the sad, haunted look to her eyes. Turning around Rebecca started to walk away head and tail hanging low, hoping that one days he could end this sufferment and decide. At that time it was probably better to live alone. Great Thickness - Ruiko - Nov 25, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] Great Thickness - Rebecca - Nov 25, 2011 Rebecca smiled to jokes of Ruiko, but they weren't enough to make her laugh. She was always so sure about herself, thinking that being part of a pack is weakness, but lately she had started to miss company of other wolves. Living alone wasn't always easy. Heart pulling in two directions, Reba was unable to be with other wolf without thinking her family. Deep in her heart she was still loyal to Dauntless, only one carrying the bloodline of Wheatears. "No, you didn't say anything and you smell clean". Rebecca kept going, one part of her praying to stay with this wolf, the other just wanted to run away and hide. On the edge of the clearing Reba couldn't stand the situation anymore, she had to stop. Indecision took all her powers and she collapsed to the ground. Lying there she looked around, but didn't saw the forest around, only her birthplace and family. Squeaking she hid her head under her paws trying to get rid of the painful memories. She couldn't get her family back, but maybe, just maybe she could find new place to call home and new wolves to call family. Just maybe. Great Thickness - Ruiko - Nov 29, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] |
