It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 01, 2012 "When the goings rough, you can be sure, I'll tough it out, I won't give in, If I'm knocked down I get up again. As longs as drem's alive, I will survive" Rebecca sang quietly while sniffing the frozen ground. The Thicket was her home, she loved it here. Snow didn't make it well through the thick branches covering the forest ground, but freezing air had no troubles. It was warmer in here than in open place, but the ground was frozen and that told something about the temperature. "Letting go of my bad habbits, hanging on the hope for better times I'll be fine" the young, ebony fae continued singing quietly, while trotting on the forest ground. She ahd learned how to move rather quietly in Thicket, in the end, she needed to hunt here, and it was pretty difficult if you couldn't be quiet. Traveling, looking for food, adventure. Tail shifting from side to side, balancing her movements. "Learning to sleep in the bed I made, Laying the blanket where it belongs. I've gotta be strong." the song continued as she climbed on a thick branch growing along the ground. Slowly it rised higher, but only two feet above ground on it's highest. And she walked on it, sniffing her way, trying to find something to eat. Jumping down, there was nothing for her. Turning and heading further from her den, towards the unexplored part of Thicket. It was the thickest part, she had hard times moving there, so usually Reba avoided it. But maybe all animals were hiding there. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 01, 2012 It appeared that smaller animals were not the only thing lurking in the thicket near Rebecca’s den today, for a rather lanky black male had stumbled upon the den a little earlier and was currently laying upon the crisp white snow, waiting for it’s occupant to return. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 01, 2012 Rebecca halted. Who was this brute? This close to her den? Reba was very protective towards her den, in the end, it was the only stable thing in her life. Head went up, tail stiffened. The brute seemed little... Too relaxed. Too friendly, too perfect. He seemed just like her grandfather, so pretending, making you to relax and then when you turn your back, attack and kill. This were only assumptions, but the stories were deep in her mind, they affected everything she did and what she felt. And now, she couldn't trust. "Tear drops, no one sees but me. I won't stop, I'll always believe" Rebecca sang the end of her song quietly, pointing her light blue eyes to the brute's gray, looking for answers from them. Muscles weren't relaxed, smile didn't glory ehr face. It was serious, too serious for her. Winter had truly changed this child. And her insanity started to take it's form, still hiding, but always there. "I'm not that kind of wolf that gives information to there and here. Sorry, but I don't know who you are, and I don't feel right to tell something to a total stranger." Rebecca said to him. Her voice had a sad tone, but still it was sure and stubborn. Ears flicking around, back paws jumping up and down, keeping her muscles moving. Eyes pointed to brute, not fearing his large body structure, with friendly look in them. Tail relaxed slightly, she didn't want to make enemies. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 01, 2012 He stopped himself from snorting, months of discipline had allowed him to mask his emotions and replace them with false ones. He hadn’t come back here without having taken the time to perfect his attitude. He’d learned at a very young age all about manipulation, war and hate, it swam in his blood alongside his red blood cells, but he wasn’t a thug- he had been blessed with brains alongside his dark calling and unlike many before him, he took the time to understand himself and just what he was capable. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 01, 2012 This was so familiar. Those over perfect manners, everything sooo tidy and clean, I'm the good himself! Yeah right! Rebecca did not take what the amle gave to her, she was way too smart for that. If that brutie would have known her grandpa... He would see how worthless he was. But okay, let's play with him! Rebecca took a very polite position, blinked her eyes like a best bitch and gave a flirty smile. With a voice so honey, so sweet, she said: "Oh don't worry you handsome!" Giggling. "You are no intruder at all!" Then the fun of the game got forgotten, and Reba took her old position back. Anger, hate running in her, the flick in her brains, the same flick that ruined the bloodline of Wheatears. And Rebecca started to be proud of it, no one here seemed to know about her family, so she ahd less reasons to hide them. And that insanity that had driven her grandparents to kill and destrooy, her mother to be a massochist, hid in Rebecca. It made her feel odd, but she had no idea what it would come up to. Something evil perhaps, most likely, but it was always possible that it would be something nice. "I've met Volkan, but I don't know who's Ranger." her voice wasn't exactly welcoming, but it still had a drop of friendliness. Anger come and gone, it wasn't needed, the brute had done nothing more than being slippery with the baby. And being too close for ehr den, of course. Rebecca glanced the sky; no snow coming. Turning her eyes back to Rhysis, she decided to instroduce herself. With her whole name. If he would give reaction, he would know Wheatears, otherwise... Nothing. "I'm Rebecca Wheatear" It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 01, 2012 Ah good, he managed to keep her attention and he gave her a nod, to say that he appreciated her speaking with him before he settled to sit down once again. “Rebecca? Well Rebecca it’s a pleasure to meet you. I guess I should be grateful the first wolf I bump into is such a sweet heart.” He took a thoughtful pause then, his head tilted to the side as if listening for something, but with a flick of his ear his attention was right back to her. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 01, 2012 Rebecca sat down as well, no matter how pretending that brute was, he was no threat. For now. When he would turn to his true self, which Rebecca was sure was hidden under his stupid shell, she would be ready to fight him if needed. And it probably would be needed. Reba did not trust him in any way, not that sibling love thing nor dear mama play. "I have no idea what she has looked like in the past, and to be honest, I paid no attention to her health" Rebecca said, being careful not to tell too much. Her eyes wandered around, but ears pointed all attention to Rhysis. Odd name, by the way. "You don't seem to be an evil wolf" Rebecca said, pointing her honest eyes to Rhysis'. It was true, he didn't seem like an evil wolf. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 01, 2012 “Ah, well at least I know that she is around this area, that's good to know indeed. Was it a long time ago that you last saw her? I really hope that she’s still in the area.” And he was very sincere in that, he was dying for the day that he would bump into his sister again. Still, he had plenty of time and before he next saw them he wanted to get his strength up, perhaps even a few allies. He’d think more of it later. Her next sentence was a very strange question. He pondered it a moment before he allowed a genuine chuckle to escape. “An evil wolf? What a strange thing to say Rebecca, what makes you think that?” It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 01, 2012 "Wolves can be evil. You don't seem to be" Rebecca explained patiently. Then she started to wonder when she ahd met Volkan. It had been after she'd met Kinis, but before... No after? She couldn't remember. "I don't know, before winter I think..." the end of the sentence fading away. She thought? Why she didn't remember?! Shaking her head, trying to organize her thoughts, building up some sort of timeline. But no, it was no use. She couldn't remember in which order she had met all those wolves she had met... Tail banged the ground in irritation. One slam, then it stiffened again. She didn't feel comfortable right now, not indeed. Why she couldn't remember? Who cares? Friendly glance to Rhysis, wondering what he thought in his mind right now. Probably nothing good. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 02, 2012 Rhysis truss his lips a moment, trying to suppress a grin before he replied, most calmly. "Well, I certainly am glad that I have never met an evil wolf." And only then did he allow a small, toothy smile. Ah, if only she knew of his past, of the evil he had born witness to and even that of the darkness in his veins. They didn't come any darker then Rhysis... but of course, looking at him now you'd never think it. |
