Harden you heart - Nash - Mar 01, 2024 Pack meeting! Early morning 3/1, outside the medicinal den. Attendance is mandatory. Next round starts 3/10. @Aquene @Jaheira @Creed @Kokonoe @Leo @Diantha @Armand @Matos @Ally @Eclypse
[dohtml] It should have been a happy week, with everyone coming home at the same time. Leo was ready to resume his role in the pack, the wandering Vuesain son had returned and brought with him Magg, who had gone out in search of him, and even brought along little Ally. Only, it was all wrong. Nash had known, upon reaching Leo in Fool's Gold Chasm, that Magg was probably hurt. Probably very hurt, but he hadn't imagined this. Hadn't let himself imagine this. Her life would be forever altered. Her wandering soul stifled by a body that could no longer perform the way she was used to... It enraged him. Someone had done this to his child. Someone had intentionally done this to his child. His daughter, and when he found out who it was, when he caught up with them... Well, Nash had done a lot of growing up the last few years. He paced outside the den, a motion that served to both stretch his hip and allow him to think. Finally he stopped and called to the pack, his command clear: assemble. There would be consequences for failing to do so. RE: Harden you heart - Eclypse - Mar 01, 2024 [dohtml] Stability felt uncertain these days. The arrivals should have been happy but instead everyone seemed tense. It had begun to spill over her own mood too. She spent more time alone and found private ways to work on her faltering confidence. Little mantras, soft promises to herself. Yet her father's voice rose in a demand that rattled it out of her. Eclypse scuttled out from cold shadows to go towards where her father should be. She would hardly be surprised if he was still near Magg. Her sister who needed the support of everyone now. Her sister who she could not bring herself to look at still yet. Nervously she came onto the scene and positioned herself towards the fringes of the to-be-gathering. RE: Harden you heart - Jaheira - Mar 01, 2024 She followed after the figure of a dark girl. RE: Harden you heart - Creed - Mar 01, 2024 Ebony ears flickered up at the call, the man turning to face the direction it had come from. His large shadowy form departed from the borders to heed the warning. His morning patrol could wait. Whatever Nash was calling them for sounded serious, and he had an idea of what it might be. His lips twitched at the thought. Lone males would potentially come around to harass the she-wolves. @Iris was still missing and this was not a time for her to be alone. The male growled under his breath, anger stirring at the idea of someone simply looking at his baby sister wrong. Large paws pressed firmly into the ground as he made his way to the medical den. His lumbering frame briskly moved through the winding trials. This would be his first opportunity to meet everyone and he knew he needed to make a good impression. He shook his tussled pelt, hoping to smooth the unkempt fur. He could see three forms up ahead through the trees. Creed slowed to a walk as he entered the clearing, nodding respectfully towards Nash before finding a seat. RE: Harden you heart - Aquene - Mar 01, 2024 [dohtml] The moment Aquene had seen the injury, her heart had been filled with pain, with torment… with just another reminder of how she had failed. She had been in the den, diligent in her care trying to push off the inevitable… what she as a healer knew had to be done. She had lingered by her side, a constant presence for her daughter since she had returned home. She felt the rage of her husband, and she internalized it but her first focus was on keeping her daughter healthy… on helping her recover. She even heard his call but she would remain in the den knowing he was right outside, and that he was aware of her presence. “Take this. It’s for the pain.” She would offer, having delved into her small and well-guarded supply of poppy seeds that would help numb what the girl felt… given the circumstances, it was the least she could do for her. RE: Harden you heart - Armand - Mar 04, 2024 Armand too had noticed the shift in mood, and had done his best to stay out of everyone's way regardless of whether they were an obvious part of the tension or not. Whatever the trouble was, he didn't need to be a part of it, and definitely did not need to be tasked with helping to fix it. When Nash's howl sounded through the air, a stark contrast to the last time he'd heard the alpha summon his pack, he visibly cringed. Armand sighed, brows pinching with irritation. He'd only made it, what, barely over one day? Begrudgingly, he turned toward the territory's epicenter and heeded Nash's summons. When he appeared for the meeting, his expression was schooled into stoicism. He sat on the outskirts, purposefully by himself. RE: Harden you heart - Leo - Mar 06, 2024 [dohtml]
RE: Harden you heart - Galen - Mar 06, 2024 One would have assumed that the return of the wayward youths would have symbolized joyous times, bolstering their numbers which Galen had noticed had done such on their own since the last time he had set eyes on the Cove. Alas, that would not be the case as the swarthy boy remained glued to the area just outside the entrance of the infirmary while recovering himself from all that had happened. From initially finding Magg in such a fragile state to the long and agonizing trek home up the mountain from the falls lugging her near dead weight all the while guiding a pup who happened to be family as well. Now his best friend was safe, the help she truly needed available under the skillful paws of her parents. Having nodded off it was the booming howl from Nash beckoning, no demanding, those of the Cove assemble that awoke Galen with a jolt, bleary golden eyes blinking the sleep away to focus on the blur of inky fur that paced back and forth before him. A certain intensity that spoke of rage, and rightfully so, radiated off the man and the youth couldn't contain the momentary sweep of his ears toward the back of his skull despite knowing this rage wasn't directed at him. Gradually their audience began to manifest and Galen pushed himself up to shift from a lay to a sit, his molten gold gaze sweeping over faces both familiar and strange one by one. RE: Harden you heart - Kokonoe - Mar 06, 2024 A salmon tongue had lapped at the chilling water to quench her thirst when the demanding howl shattered the otherwise still air, an immediate shiver giving her chocolate pelt a shake from the sheer intensity of emotions that clung to every note. Despite her relative newness to the pack even the petite woman hadn't allowed the changes in the moods of others to go unnoticed, some changes within herself as well. With the approaching change in season there was a certain warmth that began to nag at her skin again beneath her coat and there was surely an impending warning to be had. Atop of the arrival of some strangers Koko had only gotten a brief glance of before being hidden away within the confines of the medic den aside from a swarthy colored boy that seemingly guarded the den like a hawk. What for she knew not, but it was with their arrival that the moods had begun to shift. Another dampening on her otherwise rose colored world. Not wanting to find out the consequences of ignoring such a powerful summons, pale paws were quick to set for the location in which the call had originated form only to find that most, if not all, of the pack had already gathered. Great. Icy blues flitted between the various individuals gathered while seeking a position to settle into that wasn't too far back, nor too close to the front either. Eventually such a spot was found, her attention quickly focusing on the back and forth pacing of Nash while his demeanor radiated that of someone cloaked in pure rage. This couldn't be good, but she would heed what he had to say. |
