The Animal - Naira - Sep 30, 2012 Sorry, she's a bit... dark at the moment. [dohtml]
The Animal - Nina - Sep 30, 2012 [dohtml] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/bluepups/NinaTable.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top: 312px; padding-bottom: 20px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; text- align:justify;"> It had been quite sometime since returning to the pack, and yet something just felt out of place. The creek and trees just didn’t seem like they were whispering answers to her anymore and everything around her just felt. . .dead. As if something was wrong with everything around her and the silence was telling her to get out. And being the spiritual wolf she was. . .she complied, her paws taking her out of her territory. Elettra had done a marvelous job at fixing her leg and she was now almost walking without much of a limp. Her pace might have sometimes been uneven but otherwise, her leg was healing quite well. She didn’t understand why she hadn’t done to another healer for advice in the past. She walked around silently her ears pricked and tail wagging slightly behind her. Her right eye still remained shut, still having little progress in trying to open it, and her eye looked oddly misplaced. Her golden brown fur was now clean and shiny, looking like it once did when she had been in Relic Lore and she was highly pleased with the way it had all turned out. Her nose twitched every once and awhile searching for any new scents but coming up with nothing. . .until one scent hit her nose. . .another wolf. A wolf that smelt achingly familiar. Her head turned and her paws took her in the direction, curiosity pulling at her pelt. What was happening? Who was this? It was as if she were getting whacked in the face. She hardly forgot anyone’s scent and to have forgotten this one. . .she was just completely taken aback. When she saw the face her throat tightened. Naira. . .she wasn’t suppose to be here, she had received the news not too long ago that Rhysis had disappeared. . .Naira with him. And she had been disappointed that the girl at left, but now that she was back did that mean the bastard that left with her was back too? She desperately tried to open her mouth and when she did, a cracked question escaped her mouth, "Naira?" The Animal - Naira - Oct 02, 2012 [dohtml]
The Animal - Nina - Oct 03, 2012 [dohtml] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/bluepups/NinaTable.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top: 312px; padding-bottom: 20px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; text- align:justify;"> The reaction she had gotten completely shocked her, and the golden lady instantly exposed her neck to her old friend. A sign of submission and complete helplessness, telling the woman she was no harm. Her good eye was the side that rested on the large form of Naira. Had she not been a healer she wouldn’t have noticed the broken look in her eyes, the look that made it seem like she was on end. On the edge of insanity. It was as if you could smell the tension from the brown girl in the air. The scars she could see were not too bad, but she did notice them. What had Naira gotten herself into? Her jaws parted slightly and a soft whine escaped her mouth before she whispered in a calm voice, "I-it‘s Nina. . .do you remember me?" Her voice was slightly shaky when she finally was able to get the words out of her mouth. She had never seen Naira be harsh to another, and this encounter was not what she would have thought. She could feel her heart thumping heavily in her chest. She was completely and utterly terrified. What would she do if Naira attacked her? She would surely not be able to protect herself. She would be completely useless and fall to her paws. The lady would finish the job her brother was going to finish for him. Though she was quite positive that her brother was working on changing his ways, it didn’t matter. If the large wolf she had known attacked her, it would surely be her final stand. Her emerald eye took in the disheveled form of Naira and when she took a step forward the healer stood in her place. She watched, slightly horrified as she waited for any sign of greeting. And there it was. . .the slight tail wag, that was all she needed. The smaller female approached the beaten up beauty once again, cautiously, only going as far as sticking her muzzle out carefully so that the girl could scent her and remember. What had happened to the leader she had once knew? Whatever had happened had easily beaten the young thing up. She soon remembered Kanosak, and how he had disappeared not to soon after Naira had. Had he returned too? He old pack mate still had a care string within Nina and she was sure that in her gut she knew he was alive, she just didn’t know where. She knew she couldn’t say anything to Kashikoi, for it could easily bring the male down. Her nose then twitched slightly, inhaling the new scent of Naira. Surprisingly enough Nina scented the presence of another with the former Poison Path leader. . .and yet it was only the two of them. The Animal - Naira - Oct 08, 2012 [dohtml]

She did stand tall though, her nose running over Naira forehead and own pelt. Her nostrils flared as her good eye took in the scene before her. There were scars and she wasn’t quite sure, but it looked like she had been starving. the golden angel’s heart broke when she saw the many scars that had littered her body. Who had done this to her friend? When a small whine escaped the other female Nina’s head reared back so she could see the scarred face. When the question escaped her mouth, she knew what she meant, but the lady’s voice stabbed Nina. . .poor lady, she had once been a strong leader and now where was she? Alone. . .with another? Nina swallowed, her throat starting to close up, but she just managed to whisper, "My brother. . .Ash." She didn’t want to ask the retired leader the same question. . .but her eyes did the asking for her. What had happened to the strong wolf she had been close to? The one who had not snapped at anyone but had been quite pleasant. Her nose nuzzled the female carefully, caringly, showing her that Nina did indeed, still care for her. Kano? Why was he trying. . .or why did he do this to her friend? He had been such a loyal wolf when she had met him. Her throat close up but knowing she would have to keep breathing, took long, deep breathes. She swallowed hesitantly as she tilted her head to the side, her muzzle reaching out to touch Naira’s cheek gently. Poor girl had been through so much. Nina just hoped that Rhysis had not returned with the fae, for the male was someone that Nina easily feared now that she could not do anything to defend herself. She wanted to ask the brown female so many questions, but her large mouth remained shut. It seemed words got her in more trouble than anything, and Nina didn’t want to make the former Poison Path lady uncomfortable. Her nose twitched slightly keeping her jaws closed. No sound came out of her, and her small head butted Naira comfortingly on the shoulder, a small, bright smile on her face. Perhaps she could get the glum lady smiling once again. |
