I Won't Give Up - Athena - Mar 10, 2013 For @Eden.<333 I had a bunch of muse, so I just began to write and this is what it turned out to be.(: So, we can date this after the challenge with Ash. Not sure what the exact date should be though... What do you think? [dohtml] It was rare to see Athena so far away from her kingdom, but the White Queen needed to find herself. She needed to remember who she was and what she truly wanted. The lands that she willingly called her home were once again beginning to become a prison to her free soul. Home should feel welcoming, not suffocating. So with that in mind, the lithe body of Athena crossed her heavily marked borders and let her paws take her anywhere. Anywhere they wanted to go. Spring was here and the perfume that she wore filled the air everywhere she went. At times it was quite bothersome, but it was something that she just had to deal with for the time being. Her attraction towards that certain marine green eyed fellow was growing stronger and stronger and she just had to escape from it. She had to try to control her desire, so traveling away from his scent seemed like the best idea. Athena still hoped for cubs this year, but she wasn’t sure if that was going to happen. Tlarx was gone and she didn’t know if Eden held that same desire for her that she had for him. Her hormones were making her life confusing and maddening at the same time. She just needed time away. To think and breathe. Soon, the sound of the falls came to her erect ears as did the sight of them. Making her way carefully down the steep decline, she finally stopped at the edge of the pool, letting her fiery eyes gaze around her. Everything was so peaceful and beautiful. She’d never been here before, so the sight of the grotto was new to her. Athena sat there for a while until the glorious stars began to come out. Rolling onto her back, her front legs folded onto her chest while her back legs stood straight up, she gazed up at the starry sky with a happy smile on her face. Couldn’t life stay like this forever? RE: I Won't Give Up - Eden - Mar 21, 2013 Way to go Eden, where is the manly attitude xD Set two days after the big meeting? [dohtml]
Silence had always been his company, the one to hear is unspoken worries. It was that same silence that made his throat burn. A slight pain stung in his neck. Groaning at the pain he came aware of his turned head. Slowly turning back, careful not to open the wound. Steel had given him quite a reminder, the memory of his defeat gave him a slight stab. Things had not turned out flawless, no they had been quite realistic. Having a beating right after the fightless challenge. Life had played a game with him. One he had won in the end.
Eden wetted his lips, swallowing the saliva to soothe his dry throat. The air was filled with the scent of spring. Which should not be a bad thing. Normally it wouldn't. Eden had sensed it alrea
Yeah, sappy thoughts Eden way too go. Was this the feeling of a lovestruck fool? Definetly. Reality was a bit more harsh on the brown male. Though he stood now higher than the others, the feeling was the same as when he was just a new member. A bittersweet laugh came from the wolf. His feelings were clear has daylight but he was clueless whatever he should do to convey them. Stopping his thoughts, his head was aching, he caught himself driven away from home. Wavering he looked up, he felt a bit guilty leaving home leaderless but it would not take long he secured himself. Oh who was he kidding, ever since he had tried manners to tell Athena, tell her why he was on the same place as her if not yet clear. Those times silence would stop his words. Being left burning holes in the white ladies back. Similar thoughts flowed through his mind. So busy, weighting heavy on his chest. That, while his body simply followed the scent of her. Allured to a place he had never been to. When he found out the unknown place he looked slightly flustered. What was this place?
Careful looking around he swear his heart was pierced by a fallen star. Freezing in it's place he watched from the night shadow. She lay on her back watching the sea of stars above them. He couldn't turn away, he was already caputered in her web of golden silk. Song I abused for this post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg644t9AWPM&feature=youtube_gdata_player RE: I Won't Give Up - Athena - Mar 21, 2013 Sorry it's not as long as yours, but wanted to get everything moving.<3 Annd the site wide pack meeting? [dohtml] As her amber eyes stared up at the holes in the floor of heaven, the very intoxicating scent that she had been avoiding drifted into her nostrils. With a sharp intake of air, she turned onto her side where her limbs laid against the dewy grass. Her white head stayed on the ground as her eyes looked for the green glow of his eyes. The peaceful flow of water sounded in the distance, but all she could hear was the sound of her fluttering heartbeat. Was this how it truly felt to need and want someone, or was it just the erotic hormones cursing through her body? Either way, she wanted his warm body next to hers. She needed to breath in his calming scent. She needed him by her side. She couldn’t see him, but Athena knew he was there. Finally, getting up onto all fours she looked around again, her ears erect and her tip of her tail wagging. Even though she escaped her kingdom to get away from him, there was no denying that she wouldn’t mind if he had followed her. She liked his company and the way that they just seemed to fit like pieces in a puzzle. Fiery eyes continued to look around, but with no sight of him, she was beginning to think that she just imagined his cologne in the air. Perhaps she was too much into her dream world and her mind was playing tricks on her. It definitely wouldn’t be the first time. “Eden?” She asked out loud, her amber eyes continuing to search for the sea green glow that they longed for. If he didn’t show himself or answer her, she would conclude that she indeed was going crazy. “Are you out there?” One more try… RE: I Won't Give Up - Eden - Mar 21, 2013 Was he noticed? Holding his breath he saw her turning, her eyes scanning the dark. The amber slipped over him without even stopping. A bit dumbstruck he stayed in place. She couldn't see him. Letting the air slip he watched. Simply watched. While his insides were screaming to make a sound, even a shriek would be fine. 'Eden?' His body got a shock, taking a step forward just hearing his name. Look at me, his eyes tried to catch her but he was totally mixed with his background. The Queen rose from the ground, searching. What would happen if he stayed put? The thought was attractive, just watching from the sideline like he always did. He would not get hurt if he stayed behind the line. There could be no rejection or painful dramas in the future. They could say close friends and he could just watch over her. It was not a bad position, he knew, he had never crossed this line. Eden you coward. 'Are you there?' A inward sigh blew and he tried to get it together. Was it not about time he stood up? Cause every hair on his body raised in a chill when the soft voice broke the silence. Once again he tried to catch her gaze but failed once more. 'Athena,' His raw voice was just a soft breeze in the silence. Why could she not see him? Frustration nibbled on his inner peace. He was right here, turn your head just almost there. His heartbeat drummed in his ears, silently screaming for her gaze. Her acknowledge. 'Look at me!' His voice shattered the invisible wall, pinning her down with his eyes. Fierce his green gems were burning like a star in the night. Finally he got a slight hold on her even if there was no contact. His paw had crossed the first line. RE: I Won't Give Up - Athena - Mar 21, 2013 [dohtml] As soon as her voice faded with the wind and with no immediate answer, her heart dropped and she almost began walking back to her spot by the pool. But then, her name was called. Directing her eyes towards where she thought his voice came from, her fiery eyes searched for the sea green glow within the shadows that hid his darkened body. Even though she had not found him yet, her body began to move towards the sound of his voice, step by step. Before she could find him, though, his command screamed through the silence cutting it like a knife. Taken aback, she instinctively stepped back, her fiery eyes wide with shock at the tone of his voice. She found him then, his fierce green eyes staring down at her. She had found him, but why was he acting like this? She wanted his comforting company, not this. Silence filled the air as neither of them spoke. Only the sound of her heartbeat drummed in her ear as she waited for him to do something. Part of her wanted to run to him and melt in his embrace, but the other part of her wanted to demand him to submit to her for speaking that way to her. Confused about which way to take, she stood there like a statue, her amber eyes looking at him questionably. Just like he wanted. RE: I Won't Give Up - Eden - Mar 27, 2013 [dohtml]
Ah, she was walking away from him. The dark ears dropped several inches as he saw her back away. Had he made a mistake? Their was a nagging voice in his head, breaking down the confidence he had forced together in order to make himself reliable once more. Maybe he was not fit for her in the end. Telling himself lovely promises to work hard for a renewal. A soft wince came out of his muzzle. For a second he was the boy, left alone in the shadows of fire created by no one else but him. If Eden had been the same, the wolf would turn away. Rather he would have broken down every little thing he had build. However in months of Relic Lore Eden had changed. Though it was not much, he still was insecure and a bit shy. He still had to deal with the past scars. Just one thing changed. They weren't his priority anymore. She was.
Athena, in the little time they had met. Sneaked into his shattered world of dreams and shined a new light. Shadows were still cast over him but there was light. He could focus on something more than his doomsday. His past may or may not be a hindrances on later record. There was a choice, be the coward as he was fooling himself that he had to make a sacrifice, or be more selfish. The brown male choose happily for the latter.
A soft smile, warm and somewhat bittersweet lay on his features. 'Sorry I scared you.' Hiding his eyes by shutting them down he sighed. Slowly he approached the white woman, pulled by her light but afraid she would fly away like a firefly. 'Just, don't go where you can't see me.' The greens in his eyes were a bit dull as he said his words in mere whispers. Only the blue hues seemed to be burning with desire. Desire to reach out and make her his. RE: I Won't Give Up - Athena - Mar 28, 2013 [dohtml] The momentarily silence that lingered between them was deafening until finally her dark knight spoke. He spoke apologies for scaring her. Damn right you should be sorry, part of her wanted to say, but the gentler side prevailed. “It’s alright,” was all she decided to say back to him. Telling herself that he didn’t mean it, she watched his darkened form move towards her and she felt her heart almost stop as he paused in front of her. Her attraction towards him wasn’t obvious (she likes to think so), but it was still there in her eyes. After being hurt so many times, part of her wanted to stop exposing herself towards others, but now all she wanted to do was live in the now. She does what she thinks is right in the moment and think about the consequences later. That frame of mind particularly wasn’t good mindset for a leader, but when it came to the pack, she thought out her choices. However, everything else, her emotions would lead her for now. Until she crashed and burned again. Her fiery eyes searched the depths of Eden’s vast sea of eyes, searching for what, she did not know, just something. He spoke once again and her ebony lips curled into a smile at his words. Pausing to stare at his eyes for another moment before answering, she saw that in the pale moonlight that the blue flakes in his eyes shined greater than his usual green speckled gaze. His eyes were truly the most beautiful eyes that she’s ever seen before, but perhaps that was just the hormones talking. Closing the gap between them, she seductively ran her white muzzle down his blackened snout until she reached his ear. The ebony smile still on her lips, she responded to him with a hint of tease upon her voice. “And you don’t go where I can’t see you.” Once she answered him, she continued to run her body on his, her tail wagging behind her, spreading her seductive scent everywhere. Rounding around the back of him, she came back to stand beside him, her fiery eyes meeting his beckoning him towards her. RE: I Won't Give Up - Eden - Mar 28, 2013 Blarg my mind is like dumstruck --' [dohtml] A little smile crept back up on her light muzzle. Almost immediately his own lips copied her movements. Seeing her closer to him the sweet scents already began to circle around him. A slight chill run through his body as he smelled the alluring scent. Inhaling the sweetness he didn't foresee Athena's attack. His head got a bit fuzzy, no it was just clouded. Thousand little sparks seemed to spring out of her touch. Her muzzle felt soft and warm but above all that sweet scent brought him weak on his paws. No, no manly Eden keep your head up. Easier said as done. This woman. She was really wicked. As her words whispered into his ears he could feel another shiver in his body. A soft growl came as reply as she continued to circle around him. The whole air smelled like Athena. He was literally wrapped into her scent.
He couldn't help it. The scent triggered something inside him. As she stood beside him he turned his head. Caressing her delicate neck with his snout while inhaling her scent. There was a beast in his chest that breathed impatiently. It roared and pushed him forward trying to make a move. Eden however kept the beast down, for how long he could. His muzzle examined her elegant body as he brushed his head along her soft fur. Smiling against her skin, he truly felt warm on the inside. Her scent was like his oxygen and he wouldn't turn away even if he had to. He would certainly die because of suffocating if he did. RE: I Won't Give Up - Athena - Mar 28, 2013 [dohtml] The heat from their bodies intermingled together as they stood side by side. He reached back to caress her neck and a light sigh escaped her maw. Reaching her own snout towards the base of his neck, she began to preen through his fur. A thought came to her mind as they stood there together. “Will it rain tonight?” She inquired, referring back to their last time alone together. The day he promised her his all and told her that soon it’ll rain on the raging fires in her kingdom. Her entranced fiery eyes tried to meet his alluring eyes as she gazed up at him. She hoped that he would understand what her question was truly referring to. Before he could answer, her salmon tongue caressed the side of his cheek momentarily before the smile laced her face once again. Above them, it would seem that in reality it was going to rain. Dark clouds covered up the starry night sky and the full moon. The rain hadn’t come down on them just yet, but very soon it would, showering them in droplets from the heavens. Everything right now seemed right. She had him and he had her. What else could she ask for? Almost everyone that she had depended on before him had abandoned her. All she could do now was learn from those mistakes and live on. She couldn’t wallow in the past. It was in the past for a reason. Athena had to live in the now. And now was Eden and Eden only. Tlarx was no longer on her mind. Those thoughts were replaced by her dark knight. RE: I Won't Give Up - Eden - Mar 30, 2013 Ugh so sorry for the failing post and so short ;-; [dohtml] A soft chuckle came from his throat. She remembered their first alone time quite well. Not that he didn't remember that day, every tiny detail had set in his mind. A day he wished to never forget. Just like now, he wanted to make her remember this night for as long as she lived. A memory that would not erase but overthrow all the bad memories looking like they were mere flies to her happiness. Big words but he would try hard. If he did it should pay off. He wanted her to be happy, for him to be happy in this pack.
'Then let's make it rain with blessings. And drown in happiness.' In a husky alluring voice he smiled. After tonight he was hers and hers alone. With that he made his first move. |
