It's Called Missing - Triell - Feb 28, 2011 [dohtml]
Home was Swift River, it was with Indru. But the rest of his "home" was where ever Ruiko had left to. The coming weeks he missed seeing the brown, tawny, and cream hide of his elder brother. Very much. It wasn't the same without him around. He'd come to an understanding of the whole thing, and all the more reason to find him. Stetching his long legs, he meandered the coarse of the river. The sky above was an ashen blue, and the sun shined onto his back with a warm embrace. The young Tainn was going to leave the lands of Swift River temporarily. No clear idea where to look, his plan was simple. Follow the river till the creek and call for Ruiko. There he'd have to insanely, patiently wait. If it meant a chance to hear from him it would be worth it. Coarse he hadn't told anyone what he was doing, surely he would be within the safe distance of home his steps kept him moving along. He needed to see Ruiko. The family already was missing many pieces like Kinis, Torla, and Niija, Triell did not need another one. The wind tangle though, the onyx theads rushing past his face. Tongue lolled out the side of his jaws, freedom carried on his shoulders. He was officially nine months, and only three more from being a yearling, an adult. He didn't feel any different, and doubted when his birthday came it would hit him. One felt as old as they wanted, didn't they? It didn't mean he was no different. There was only more small changes. Inches had him taller, down his shoulders and ribs it was a little thicker. The scar from the loner was a lighter, thin patch of black, starting to dissapear day by day. On first glance, he could almost pass as adult. A closer look to his face still had the cuts of a child, and hind end of him was still gangly. Triell thought little about this, instead he let the scents of the world jump at his nose. The life underneath the cold ground speak to him, as the colors of earth that were starting to come back drift into his view. Like Cori said Spring was very, very close. An hour or two later he crossed through the cold waters, and shook himself when paws touched the dryer land . He was at his destination, and had no time to waste. Casting his head back, his lips shaped into an O and he sang a loud, long, alto note. Ruiko where are you? Fading from his lips, a happy attitude he found a hollow long and took up watch letting the sun dry his damp form. [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Kinis - Feb 28, 2011 He couldn't help it. It's Called Missing - Triell - Mar 01, 2011 [dohtml]
Triell figured he was in for a wait. Though he was very, very hopeful Ruiko would come, there was the little nagging that called for a plan B. That plan was to return home before it got to dark, and try again if the weather permited. Time was on his side, and if he grew to bored he intented to go investigate the creek. Praticing self-discipline, if Ruiko showed it wouldn't work well if Triell had wandered off else where. Linking the long lengths of his coat, his mind worked over each little bit of it like he'd never done before. If he was gonig to kill time, it couldn't be fast could it? This task acomplished he stretched his length and investigated the gray strips of earth-made couch. Thoroughly eyes upon it, as if never seeing such grains of wood. Suddenly a happy bark echoed cross the water Triell rolled half way off the long for catching himself, and standing atop it's flat base. What the heck? Was clearly in his features, and thoughts. Orange eye fumbled around looking for the source across the creek way. There a tawny, brown pelt, a tawny, brown pelt! It was not Ruiko, it was Kinis! Triell could hardly believe his eyes, and he blinked, scrunching them against the light. It was Kinis! Own little heart did a flip, would have with the joy he felt. He had called for Ruiko and had gotten Kinis! Black banner behind him waved like it'd never been waved before. "Kinis!" Happily he barked in return. It didn't matter what time had passed or whatever else between him he could not have been more happy to see anyone in his life! Straight away jumping from his perch down to the banks of the water. There was something about seeing him after so long he wanted to sing, and Triell had never felt compelled to sing. So without a hesitant thought, he stepped into the murky cold waters, and loped to the other side-making quite a crash of liquid right up to his brother's standing. Affectionately he didn't hold back, instead licked the side of his brother's face. Then giving him his space took a good look at him. "How are ya, brother?" Triell didn't care where he'd gone, or why he hadn't come home. The only thing he cared about how he was here, safe and sound. It showed in his bright eyes, and open mouthed smile. [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Ruiko - Mar 02, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Kinis - Mar 05, 2011 The welcome was returned with warmness in abundance, and Kinis found himself wondering why he had left this for so long. He hadn't known that Triell was back, but if this brother could be happy to see him, then why not the others? Allowing himself to hope wasn't so hard when he watched his brother splash enthusiastically through the water towards him. Kinis' tail in overdrive now, he returned the happy affections in equal measure. It had been too long, far too long, and Kinis fond himself drawn in to his brother's contagious smile. It's Called Missing - Triell - Mar 06, 2011 [dohtml] ooc;forgive this odd post A thougthful, most happy chuckle vibrated chest to throat upon brother's answer. He could not keep the smile off his face even if he tried. It had been much to long since he'd set eyes on Kinis, and for a time Triell had feared the worse. Other than looking a bit short on meals he looked well, and happy to see him what more could he ask for? For the second time today Triell was surprised by the arrival of another Tainn. A deep call, bringing his head around. Ruiko! Banner flung widely behind him, and he let out a low bark in return. Triell grinned when Ruiko noticed he was not alone. When Kinis bounded closer though the lad kept his place. His tail beat at the near willows. He knew they must have grown closer in the past months and was happy to be their to witness their reunion. Ruiko was the one to speak of whereabouts, but Kinis didn't elborate. Maybe Ruiko was curious, or worried but Triell was obvlious to anything but having the company of them. So the lad didn't think much into where is brother could have been. The real information was bound to come out later, now all he could do was be cheerful. Beaming at Kinis when his littermate looked to him. Triell felt very lucky to have such good brothers right now he didn't have to miss them! Kinis returned to his side, and Triell gave him a kind glance. It took him a second to regain his thoughts, for he was sure they were waiting for him to say something. He almost forget he'd been calling for Ruiko, with all the joy in his chest now. He laughed, "I've missed both of you so much. What shall the three of us do now, together again?" He inquired from either of them. He'd wanted to hear how Ruiko was doing, and maybe they could hunt or explore together. Catch up on what they had missed. [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Ruiko - Mar 07, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Kinis - Mar 07, 2011 Truly content, Kinis glanced between his brothers as they spoke, though he did tend to linger on Ruiko more often than not. This older sibling had been in the fore of his thoughts for a very long time, after all. As Kinis easily slipped back into the family setting, he wondered - not for the first time, but definitely more strongly - if he had been completely insane. How could he have left this? It's Called Missing - Triell - Mar 07, 2011 [dohtml] Triell welcomed the affectionate touch of his brother, and licked his chin, letting out a whine of his missing him. As Ruiko reverted back, he grinned. It had been to long, it made him miss old times. But no one could turn the world backwards for that sake, and Triell had embraced the facts. They had each other for the rest of their lives, and that was more than fair. A wide smile still very evident, his tail eargerly wagged behind him. He thought over the question, and the hunger pain of Kinis made him certain of his choice. Triell laughed at his brother's remark. He was glad his stomach wasn't the only one that growled like that. "Well, I'm sure three of us could definately fix that." He piped, licking his jowls. Triell was getting the hunting thing down, and going with Ruiko and Kinis, well that sounded like fun. Surely they would be able to get something good. "Rui, where do you think we might find an afternoon snack?" Coarse he may have gotten better at hunting, but where to start, and what to eat was another thing. [/dohtml] It's Called Missing - Ruiko - Mar 09, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] |
