RE: a restless wanderer upon the earth - Sijinali - Sep 03, 2015

ooc; I'm going to fade this out since it's been a bit for reply and we have 10 posts.

Siji remains squinting as the winds appeared to get stronger. Her lips pull in a frown as she tries to listen to the man. The howling of the wind rushes by her; she grows aggravated. Nodding politely to his words, she suddenly turns, her eyes falling upon a large rock toward the top of another one of the dastardly slopes. "Quick. Follow me." It seemed as if they had gotten themselves stuck in a sandstorm. The night's air wasn't as forgiving as she had hoped it would be. Siji looks at him once more, her teal eyes flashing a trusting glance before she fully turns her slender body. Her paws dig into the red sand as she pushes off, feeling the resistance as she does so. Narrowing her eyes, she bounds forward, seconds feeling like minutes as she desperately dashes toward the boulder. This damn storm.

Sijinali had never experienced a sand storm, but she had the feeling it wasn't going to let up very easily. Nearing the peak of the slope, she slips around the boulder, feeling instant relief from the stinging sands. Her heart thrummed steadily in her chest as she exhales in a sigh of relief. Jin wanted to continue talking to the handsome male, but she was unsure of whether or not he'd follow her. He'd be a fool not to her mind cooed to her. The sand was horrific. The tan-gray wolf sits back on her haunches now, allowing her sore paws to rest. It had seemed as if it had been days since she fully let herself relax.

Wanting to peer around the boulder to see if the male was coming, Sijinali grows anxious as she awaits the man to corner the earthen toned rock. It was nice to talk to someone again for once. She hadn't realized it, but she had become a bit lonely in her travels. Most of the time she was left with her own thoughts, which could be quite the frightening thing when she was in a poor mood.

RE: a restless wanderer upon the earth - Naberius - Sep 30, 2015

OOC: So sorry for putting this off!

The wind seemed to swallow his voice, and it appeared as though she was unable to understand. Bracing himself by lowering his head, the man's pinned ears still somehow managed to pick up her command, to which he whole-heartedly agreed. There was no need to continue their conversation out here in the howling sand. If they stayed too much longer, the two of them might be scraping the sand from their eyes and nose for quite a while. Unable to make out much without getting the red grains in his eyes, the man grunted; bounding after her most ungracefully. Every step met with resistance from the wind, and it seemed much to long before the stone could finally fend off the aggressive air and dust. With a snort and a vigorous shake of his head and then his whole body, Naberius circled to where the woman sat waiting.

The idea that she had been waiting for him specifically was heartening, and as soon as they were both within the bounds of still air he offered her a curt grin. Well, if he had to be trapped in a sand storm there were worse people to be forced to spend it with. Heck, even being stuck here alone seemed awful as a concept by comparison. He too had missed companionship, and hopefully they would give each other plenty while they waited this one out. At first it could have been assumed that Isde had failed to prevent the storm from occurring, but to that end The Zamora man was allowed the opportunity to ease his loneliness. If anything, it was a good development. He was more than content to offer her pleasant conversation for the rest of the night.
