RE: Serpentine tongue - Iopah - Jan 14, 2016 Koda <3 you're welcome to fade out with your post! [dohtml] Her eyes were fast upon him - wanting to hear everything, wanting to prepare herself as much as possible. She nodded quickly, golden-hued gaze never leaving his face. It was a huge relief that he had no plans to tangle with any of their ex-alliances. She knew her mate was capable and no stranger to difficult journeys, it was other wolves that always offered much more danger.
He mentioned the farther reaches of the land, musing over his proposed journey, and she leaned back more contently to continue the conversation. There were no question she was curious - a fact her mate was well aware of - and her eyes were bright as she nodded, taking a brief glance southwards. She remembered standing on the Mountain of Dire and looking in that direction and having the same nagging sense of curiosity, but she had been heavily pregnant at the time and in no condition to do anything other than wonder. "You'll have to tell me what it's like." She murmured to him, refusing to imagine any reality other than the one she wanted. Of course he would return, of course he would tell her all about it. A flare of alarm went up her spine at @Elettra's name. The Archer woman had never spoken an ill word or acted against her, but how closely did Nina have her around her claw? She shook her head and pressed closer to him. "Be careful around her, love." The Archer had already acted on one grudge, who knew how many lies @Nina had whispered in her ear? "Don't trust her." |
