RE: you're the one I need - Vespertio - Sep 13, 2016 [dohtml] The hint of a smile adorned the man's lips being able to faintly catch the small hiccup as the darker boy looked him square in the face before thinking he had suddenly made some horrible mistake and swiftly adverted his gaze, a russet pair of ears listening to what the boy had to say in response to the question that hung in the air. The answer he received caused a brow to raise curiously upon hearing his admittance of being not used to such confined sleeping arrangements which in turn begged the tawny patriarch to pry further had a voice in his head not risen to tell him @Draven was not a wolf to be prodded further, at least not yet. Before Vesper could speak upon his answer, though, the ebony child steered the conversation away from the topic at hand which only solidified the notion that like a growing flower he would have to be patience and nurturing in order to see the flower blossom and reveal its inner workings. So silently he remained, allowing the boy to direct the conversation toward more comfortable ground until a yawn suddenly broke between his words. A reminder of just how late it truly was. "I'm sure you will prove yourself a great asset to this pack in due time, but for now you need your rest." Molten gold eyes watched his head steadily grow lower and lower until it rested upon his paws, ebony lids fighting to remain open until the fight was a loss. In no time the boy was sound asleep by the sound of his breathing, a smile stretching further across Vesper's maw. "Goodnight Draven." He murmured quietly before he too succumbed to the lull of the sand wolf, falling into a content slumber among his family. [/dohtml] |
