RE: Open your umbrella! - Namid - Jul 22, 2016 [dohtml] While Ismena’s older siblings had been content to simply listen to the stories she’d told, the child seemed to delve much deeper into it. While she was still rapt in her attention, there was a certain amount more of concentration and thoughtfulness that was etched into her daughter’s face and she wondered what on earth it could be that she was thinking of. “M-momma,” she said, and Namid’s soft grey auds slid forward with a tilt of her head. "Big boom.. Take daddy n' Lu-unt? Ay-la take daddy and lu-unt?" she asked with wide eyes. The mother quickly shook her head, “Oh, no dear. Aella does not take wolves, she only takes her water back and sometimes a tree. Daddy and Lunette are safe, probably in the communal den with everyone else. The might even be on their way back right now, because the storm has stopped,” she assured the girl. Her husband was smart and there was no way that he’d do anything to put their young daughter in danger, that much she knew for a fact. Her head dipped down to swipe a reassuring lick across the top of Ismena’s head. Everything was going to be just fine. [/dohtml] RE: Open your umbrella! - Ismena - Aug 09, 2016 I'm so sorry for the wait! I've had bronchitis for the last two weeks, so I've been avoiding my responsibilities x__x!! Wanna start wrapping this up? :0
(Also, I have another random event if you're interested. "Ismena, after a recent storm, you discovery a newly formed stream. " could make for another great bonding experience? :0 [dohtml] Ismena let out a great big sigh of relief as her mother explained that the rest of their family was still in fact alive and well. It was as if a tremendous weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, for now she knew she wouldn't have to tend to a grieving alpha. "Ay-la.. No take wolves." the fae repeated, allowing her tail to wag in appreciation. 'Da' too fat to take.' the child cackled in thought, remembering how pudgy her father had appeared to her earlier in the day. It was then that the small child came to a realization that what her mother had said was indeed fact, the storm had apparently ceased after all. "Ay-la say no more rains?" The pup questioned, wondering how the Deity knew when enough was enough. Did Terra tell her when to quit, or was there perhaps something more that she was unaware of? "N' why she take t-twee?" If she had to make a guess as to why, Ismena would say that the woman might favor tree's because of their leaves. Leaves, after all, sure were great. However the child couldn't think of a reason why someone living in the sky would need them.. Your heart's too big for your body. Ismena Vuesain[/dohtml] RE: Open your umbrella! - Namid - Aug 14, 2016 [dohtml] "Ay-la.. No take wolves." her daughter reiterated, seeming to think on it a moment before brightening up. A hum of a laugh reverberated in the throat of the mother, mismatched gaze crinkling at the corners. So that’s what had been bothering her this whole the, hm? The way a child’s mind worked continuously fascinated the mother to no end, that was for certain. Each one of them so individual, so unique. It made her happy, no, proud to be their parent. "N' why she take t-twee?" came the next question. All the curious they were, and if they weren’t they likely wouldn’t have come from her would they have? “Because, it is the punishment that Aella gave her sister for forgetting to give her water back. If she does not give the water back, then she sometimes takes a tree. It is a fair trade,” she explained, knowing she’d already answered the question but doing it again anyways. With pups, she’d learned quickly that one must repeat themselves numerous times and to be patient when having to do so. “But, I think it is time for your nap do you think not? Come, momma will sing to you,” she said, dipping her head to nudge her child and pass a kiss gently over her small ear. It was the little things like this that made her oh, so happy. A gentle humming filled the den, sweet tones drifting as she lulled Ismena off into slumber. fade [/dohtml] RE: Open your umbrella! - Ismena - Aug 25, 2016 [dohtml] With a bit more of an explanation added to it, the arrangement between the two sisters seemingly made a whole lot more sense. An eye for an eye, so to speak. If the sister wanted to keep her tree's, well, she'd just have to remember to return the water! Ismena would like to think that, if put in a similar scenario, she'd act just as Aella had. Perhaps the lesson could have even been applied to the situation the pair found themselves in earlier! Lunette had taken the pup's precious 'spot wiggle' away, it may be that the eldest cub could have simply taken something back in return instead of throwing such a large tantrum! However, nothing in particular really came to mind when it came to the youngest's interests, or even belongings. The fae hadn't taken up the responsibility of 'collecting' as she herself had. How troublesome. Ismena hadn't really realized just how tired she was until her mother had propositioned a nap. Her eyelid's now appeared rather heavy, and the pup couldn't help but allow a yawn to escape from her tiny muzzle. With a nod, the pup closed her eyes. Embracing the sound of her mother's beautiful singing voice, and soon after nodding into a deep slumber, likely dreaming of the tale told to her just moments prior. fade [/dohtml] |
