RE: don't let me down - Marina - Jan 23, 2017 Secretly, silently, Marina was very grateful her new friend was in agreement about their current situation. The play had been terribly fun, after all, but the girl was fairly certain her mama would not be happy if she knew how far the pup had wandered. (It would be even worse if Mako discovered her disappearance before Spieden did – but would he be upset that he wasn’t invited, or mad that she’d broken the rules? Either way, her brother’s dissent was not something the child was currently interested in earning, no matter how simple irking his ire could actually be. His froideur was not something that needed any encouragement.) Oh! Marina was stirred from her thoughts, buttercup eyes growing wider as her friend made another suggestion. Not just to go home, and keep themselves out of trouble, but a race! Another game! “Yeah! Yeah! ‘kay!” she agreed eagerly, tail whirling behind her moments before the younger girl started off. “Hey!” Marina called after her, but it was colored with a delighted cackle, awkward puppy bounds and a tangle of limbs tumbling after the young Tainn. Oh! This was an excellent idea! And her little secret, too. Maybe tomorrow she would find Treyah, and she wouldn’t tell Mako a darn thing. Fade. |
