RE: three musketeers - Isuni - Nov 19, 2016 [dohtml] Briefly, the older woman waited for Celandine to pipe back up – but she did not. The redhead raised a brow, unaccustomed to the white wolf’s silence; but there was no reason to complain, so she did not. Perhaps even more thankfully, the small group was finally going to set off…and without Morganna’s spawn. Woe be to the fool who got the alpha’s children injured – or worse.
Rolling her shoulders and bowing down once, Capable stretched out her shoulders and her limbs, yawning before she set off after their interim leader. He was young, and perhaps a little more enthusiastic than was the redhead’s preference, but they were going in the right direction, moving, searching – once upon a time, Morganna had taught her how to find ginger in the ground, and this, the woman knew, was something she could do again. The jog became an easy lope, and the trio of wolves soon came across a tree line. Curiosity soon called to Capable – or perhaps that was the trickle of water she heard, a soft song to any creature that lived nearby. Giving a soft woof to the other two, she continued to follow the soft sound, until she finally came across a creek. “Water,” she called out, “lots of plants, too.” bring me home, bring back what's stolen,

like you're supposed to RE: three musketeers - Lorcan - Nov 19, 2016 [dohtml] @Isuni perhaps find the springs/WFN borders in your next post? As the trio of wolves made their way through the woodlands, Lorcan was surprised when the two woman who traipsed along behind and beside him grew quiet. The air was not filled with chitter chatter as the young agouti had hoped for and instead he was left to converse with his own thoughts, with just the sound of heavy breathing shared between his pack mates. [/dohtml]
The movement of his limbs as he trotted along became completely instinctive and his body seemed to continue forwards without tiring for the majority of the journey. Lorcan kept himself amused with the sights and smell of the surrounding woodlands as they passed through it, only occasionally glancing to either side of him to visually check in with his silent companions. Capable’s bark caught his attention suddenly, and like Celandine, he slowed his pace and circled in towards the red-headed woman as she broke away from the direction they had previously been travelling in and instead advanced through the tree line. As he and Celandine neared her, she verbally confirmed what the agouti male could now hear through the soft rattle of the leaves in the trees. Moving swiftly to traipse a pace or two behind her, Lorcan followed Capable to the creek. Pausing to lap up some of the cool clear water before looking around, he made sure to check which way the water was flowing before going any further. “If I understood Morganna correctly, I believe we should continue upstream.” He stated, before glancing back to the two women for confirmation. Then, pressing his nose to the dirt, Lorcan inhaled the scents on the ground in search of the prized ginger root.“I can’t smell any ginger yet, but we should keep an eye out, it could be anywhere along here..” He offered a smile across to Capable, before he continued to journey onwards, keeping close to the creek so that they could follow it onwards to the river and hopefully find the springs Morganna had described. |
