RE: the secrets i keep - Sven - Mar 15, 2017 His help? Sven regarded him for a moment without speaking, as if searching for a sign of just how genuine the offer was. The thing was, though, that he knew Renier meant it. He had to muse just how far that lending paw would extend, if the Lyall knew to what lengths Sven was willing to go for even a half sibling that he knew nothing about. Perhaps he should have thought on that, found it peculiar just how obsessed he was with taking on his father's half-attempted responsibilities and making them own. Perhaps out of determination to rid the world (and himself) of any and all doubt that he was at all like Skoll. Sven didn't, however. He gave his great, off-white pelt a shake and looked away, onto what their next target would be in their scent marking agenda. "I'll hold you to that," he jested lightly with a wry smile, glancing again at Renier only briefly before moving on. "Wolves from Halie's pack don't sound so bad, though." The only negative things he really recalled hearing was a woman whom her father was involved in, and whether her bad feeling on Naira was founded or not, he couldn't blame her. After all, maybe Skoll and Hecate had really been in love. Sven wouldn't have given a fuck. His father wasn't supposed to move on. RE: the secrets i keep - Renier - Mar 16, 2017 [Dohtml] One more and we can claim/archive You can fade out with him rattling on about hal if you want xD Renier Lyall
you can set yourself on fire The Lyall did not falter or withdraw his words. He could tell there was a silent consideration being made. The worth of his words measured. Sven wasn't easily read. Did he remember the things Renier had done right? Did it mean anything to the young Archer that he had come back? He had yet to know. How he tried not to put too much thought into either at this point in time. It was with the sound of their paws moving along the snow they headed to the next stretch to reinforce their presence. Gold eyes swept along the landscape of white, happy for the pleasant weather, and company of the sun. The Lyall was caught unawares by Sven's remark. The surprise in his eyes could have counted for joy, cause all he could do was smirk in turn. Hopeful, that maybe they were reaching a better point of friendship, of trust. The memory of the silver wolf came to mind at the mention of the pack. She had been rather polite, and she had made the offer to him that he see her again in the Bend. A temptation he had managed to resist when things had blown up in his face. It was her last words he could not forget either. They had reflected a different nature, and not exactly a want to know her any further. Trouble found him without help. Even if he would agree it was the least Skoll Archer deserved. On the other paw he imagined this Halie must have a good nature for Sven to be drawn to her. "Well, it does seem rather noble to let a woman stay under the circumstances." If she were going to be banished, she would have been a loner when he had met her he'd imagine. When there was no hiding the truth. He didn't exactly like the subject, and dared to venture a question. "How long have you and this Halie been friends?" RE: the secrets i keep - Sven - Apr 18, 2017 Noble. He did have mixed feelings on that, as he wasn't entirely sure of the woman's situation as a whole. Was she a Piety or a Hecate? Had she really deserved that forgiveness, or should she have known better than to tryst with a stranger? Maybe she'd only been as impulsive and selfish as his father had. Sven did hope that wasn't true, that there was a different narrative to explain it all. Something that boded well for the well-being of his estranged sibling. He would find out soon enough, he supposed. Sven's ears perked up once more as Renier presented a question, then, moving their conversation in a more casual direction. It wasn't often that he got asked about things so simple and normal. Few wolves bothered to learn about Sven at all, it felt like. "A while," he answered, vague at first as he tried to recount the months, "I was like... five months old I think? Was looking for Piety, and found this really extensive cavern system under Dire..." He went on like that, relaxing into the story as he told Renier all about how he first met Sahalie Tainn. /fade |
