RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Treyah - Dec 31, 2017 It was with a wry smile that she responded to Kerberos. "I just try to stay positive. Everyone has some good in them you know? Sometimes, I'm not sure I do..." It was the first time she had ever spoken of it. "Everything seems so dark, but I just try to remember when we all first got here. We had a chance at something new, and I think everyone deserves that chance. Ma always told me it was a great way to set yourself up for heartbreak but she was so... bitter, and hard, and angry sometimes. I don't want to be like her." But the discussion was turning dark and they both had enough of that in their lives as it was. "I'm sure even more would come looking for you if I let you past the borders more often!" After all, the wolves she had managed to talk into coming back hadn't exactly been nearby. RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Garmir - Jan 01, 2018 Garmir laid some distance away from the Den, observing happenings of the pack from sidelines. He had been member for little past two weeks now and it was.. different in this small pack. Interactions were far more casual than what he had got used to. There was also different sense of kindness on members and the leaders were not.. forceful with their authority. He wasn't sure was this good or bad. The pack lacked certain dicibline it seemed but it seemed to function just fine despite it. He decided to keep obeserving and trying to fit with his best efforts. Still, he lacked initiative to start conversations or approach others and thus he watched general interactions of the pack near the Den.. RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Dread - Jan 14, 2018 The dark male almost didn't wish to get up this morning, as cold as it was outside. His toes were all tucked carefully beneath him and his nose was tucked underneath his tail, making him feel very warm and reluctant to face what he knew was to come outside. Even if he knew full well he had to get up and do something eventually, part of him was tempted to just close his eyes again and fall back asleep. But even as he closed his eyes in a futile attempt.to fall back asleep, Dread knew he'd be up within the next ten minutes, regardless of the toasty warmth he had collected. Still, ten more minutes of sleep did sound nice. And it wasn't often he allowed himself to sleep in.... RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Treyah - Mar 02, 2018 For @Garmir

Her steps felt as heavy as her heart as she made her way back towards the den, her fur still wet from the icy burst that sprayed forth from the river. Kerberos may have been convinced her father was returning, but Treyah wasn't so sure, and she wanted to send someone to look, even if she didn't really have the members to spare. Maera would want to be with her mate as the weather warmed, as she should, a thought that put the yearling more on edge than she would ever admit, but they had promised each other one litter, and maybe she was still too young to shoulder herself with the burden of children just yet? It was while she was wrapped up in her thoughts that she spotted him, her tail flicking out behind her in greeting, if arched a little higher than was normal for the girl. "Garmir!" She called out in greeting, "Are you busy?" [/dohtml] RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Garmir - Mar 02, 2018 The earthen male laid at his usual spot near the pack den premise, where he could see much of what was happening, but could remain on the sidelines unless called for. He was gnawing a rabbit's foot - one of his earlier kills from yesterday. There was no meat or so much skin left to chew on, but he could still try his teeth on it. He noticed @Treyah and followed her steps with his gaze while he continued to gnaw. She seemed little uneasy and he wondered If spring and all this mating nonsense was the cause. Even Garmir could feel a change with his testosterone levels rising, but at least he had been trained to supress his urges to a point he almost felt disgusted by it. His ears perked up as she called him and he immidietly stood up, leaving the rabbit foot where it was. He moved closer and then bowed his head at her. "Not at all. Is there something you need?" -he asked with almost eager tone. RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Treyah - Mar 03, 2018 [dohtml] i wear my heart for all to see Treyah Tainn
She was relieved that she didn't seem to be imposing on the man. He might have been the lowest but that didn't mean she would go out of her way to shove him around or work him any harder than anyone else. She tried to displace her unease with a brighter smile, moving to greet him with a nudge to his shoulder, "I-uh, my dad seems to have wandered off..." Her smile turned wry, wasn't that the story of her life? Maybe he was out catching up with @Reiko but it was unusual for him to go for any length of time without saying something. "It's not really... ideal for me to go looking for him" not that she wasn't capable but she was about to experience her first heat and she wasn't entirely sure what to expect, and there was that promise to keep in mind, "and I can't send Mae, no doubt Kerb will want to keep her close... Would you mind seeing if you can track him down for me and make sure he's okay?" It was in no way an order, but a heartfelt request. [/dohtml] RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Garmir - Mar 03, 2018 The old man had gone missing? Now that he thought of it, he had noticed Triell's tracks leaving the pack lands, but he had not thought much of it. After all, he was no pup and could certainly take care of himself. There might still be trail to follow. "Don't worry. I shall Look for him. I think I noticed his trail few days ago while I was patrolling. Maybe he is out to get some fresh air... You know.. since its that time of the year.." He gave her reassuring nudge on her shoulder in return and then prepared himself for the mission ahead. It was almost shame he knew nearly nothing of the old man, having never directly spoken to him out of respect. He did not believe Triell to be in danger but if it set @Treyah 's mind at ease to know someone was looking for her father, he was more than happy to do it. "I might be gone for a while, but I promise I will return. Anything else before I go?" - he asked, ready to leave as soon as Treyah would dismiss him. RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Dread - Mar 18, 2018 The mix of smells lingering in the air as Tenebrae moved close to the communal made his nose wrinkle slightly. He knew numbers were slowly dwindling and the pack was mostly made up of males right now. But there were still a few females around that made his skin just itch. But for the last few weeks, he had essentailly gone into hiding and been keeping respectful distances from Treyah and the others in the pack. Because if he was feeling ansty and jumpy, then Kerberos and Treyah most likely were feeling the brunt of it, being the current leaders who had to keep things in check and everything. Huffing lightly as he flopped at the entrance of the den, Tenebrae wondered what he should do next. He had just done an quick afternoon patrol and wouldn't do another one for a few hours. Maybe he should go hunt? RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Kerberos - Mar 18, 2018 He toyed with the idea over the last few days. Kerberos felt like he might end up doing more damage but he needed it for himself and the sake of his relationships with everyone else. The Rigel needed to step back and take a deep breath. He needed to clear his mind without the hassle of everyone else breathing down his neck or watching his every move. So he was filled with delight when the scent of his almost absent second came on a breeze. "Tenebrae?" He called out lightly as he caught sight of the male crumpled on the floor by the den's entrance. "Could I talk to you for a moment?" He asked with a slight tilt of his head. RE: Charred Ash Draw Pack Thread - Dread - Mar 18, 2018 When his leader's voice floated into his ears, Tenebrae lifted his head, eyeing him for a moment before pushing back to his feet. This was his leader after all, even if he hadnt been the best at socialising as of late. "Of course. What can I help you with" hopefully, it wasn't about his hiding from the rest of the pack. Because he hoped to do that till the end of the season, though he'd still do his duties. "Is everything alright?" |
