RE: each coming night - Wraith - Jul 02, 2017

Sorry for the wait, darling. <3

"Maybe one day," he agreed, though honestly Wraith didn't anticipate ever returning. He loved his family, but he had another to care for now. Making the trip before had been an easy task compared to how it would be now. Then, he'd been Craw's Second. Leaving as Second had been strain enough on the pack. As an Alpha, his obligation was to the wolves under his protection. Their protection. Going off whenever it suited him was hardly a decent example to show his packmates. If he wanted them to remain loyal, he would prove it as well.

As she has listened to him, Wraith listened to Piety with rapt attention, delighted by the way her eyes lit brightly as she discussed her homelands. She always seemed so animated, no matter the circumstance. Piety was a wolf of passion. She loved fiercely, lived fiercely, and it shone in the way she spoke of anything of interest to her as well.

"Friendly wildlife?" he asked, amused. "I can't even begin to imagine what trouble a young rebellious Piety would have gotten herself into with friendly wildlife." He snorted a little. "Seems your puphood home would be more hospitable to our children than mine. If by chance we do have the opportunity to travel, it should be there."
