RE: our hometown's in the dark - Risaela - Jul 06, 2017

gonna throw a Ris post in here too

Ris was extremely excited to find that her brother was right behind her, and she turned to give his muzzle a few quick licks before looking back toward Lachesis and the den. The silver-tawny pup's eyes flew open in awe when she spotted the agouti baby sprint out of the den and slam right into the back of her Uncle Cloud's leg. She'd known that there were squeaks and chirps from that den, because she had been there before, but she hadn't ever looked into it. She didn't know that there were other hers in the den! Her mouth opened in shock, and her tail started to wag excitedly.

As it didn't occur to the child that it would be wrong to approach, she immediately began to prance her merry way up between Lachesis' forelimbs and peer at the new puppy. She dropped her chest to the ground and waved her tail happily, as if inviting the new child to play. And it was that moment that she noticed the pale-furred one at the den's entrance. But that one was crying!

That was bad! And not in the way that Ris was usually bad.

Distress flooded the young girl's expression as she watched the girl in the den, her mouth screwing up in worry. She looked up at Lachesis, and then back at the pale puppy, her breathing picking up as she waited for her uncle to fix whatever was wrong with her.

RE: our hometown's in the dark - Lilliana - Jul 10, 2017

Running into her father's legs had landed the tawny girl flat on her rump and she took a few moments to blink, head turning this way and that to take in the unfamilar blobs that gradually focused into familiar shapes (although none of the faces were known to her yet, the scents were familiar and reassuring). Her tail began to wave steadily as she found her feet again (if still a little wobbly from her previous collission). Her fathers nose pressed to her head and informed her that this was the rest of the pack, and for a moment the girl was overwhelmed.

There were so many bodies! But her trepidation quickly turned to excitement when she realised that at least two of them were close to her size. One charged forward and the tawny girl braced herself, tail already arching over her back in challenge but it seemed her sister caught the other's attention and Lil barked indignantly. Hey! Aren't we gonna play? If the other girl was going to just stop there than the outgoing girl would take the opportunity to get a run up before she stretched her paws wide to try and tackle the other child. Savage Squeaky growls left her chest as her mouth opened and her head waved playfully. It was hard to grasp a target so small so for now she was intent to just show the other how fearless she could be.
