The only thought in the dark beta’s mind was to get this man as far away from his family as he possibly could. He could not risk allowing such a wolf to remain anywhere close to the cove when there was Moonshadow, Chan, and Lunette there who could all he hurt by this stranger. No he had to do something and he had to do it then and not let this threat skirt their borders again after he had done so once already.

The dark man gave chase to the stranger as he retreated through the nightshade. He would not be satisfied until he was sure that the man was a safe distance away from the cove. A distance where Kajika could feel at ease once more and feel that his pack didn't have to worry. He could not lose another member to a horrible date as he had lost Des nor have another attacked as Moonshadow had been. He couldn't carry more guilt knowing he could have done something and didn't allowing what happened to happen. It ate at him every second of every day and he couldn't add to it.

So he continued to chase the man staying close behind until they had come to the other side of Poison path. There Kajika stopped and watched the man continue to run but at least now he could rest easy in the fact the man had hopefully learned that the cove was not a place where his behavior was accepted.
