RE: heads are gonna roll - Greer - Nov 11, 2017 [dohtml] Even if a pack wasn’t what Summiter was looking for, the shadow couldn’t leave him on the mountain wounded. Not with winter rolling in. The small pack was looking at acquiring members, not driving them away. He kept telling himself to be more approachable and seek out conversation. Actually play the role of leader properly as opposed to letting Kyna do everything. Being in charge had never been on the top of his priority list. Pursuing the spotlight hadn’t even been a thought in his mind—ever. Not until the scarlet mountain princess entered his life. She had changed his perspective—his goals. Made him want things he’d never considered in the past. He still had his doubts, but the Archer knew those would never fade away completely. He snickered at the male’s words and nodded gently as he mirrored Summiter’s faint grin. Savior. That was a new one. Greer kept his pace slow as he knew the younger male was wounded. It was not a speed he was used to but he complied without protest or complaint. If he wanted the charcoal loner to stay in Aurora he would have to be a good host. Make the mountain pack look appealing. “Weclome,” he responded with a flick of his tail, his features softening. “No more rock throw,” he tossed over his shoulder, the corners of his eyes crinkling in amusement. RE: heads are gonna roll - Summiter - Nov 13, 2017 [Dohtml] Summiter
look what you made me do For the first time in a long time he was pleasantly surprised. He hadn't expected for things to work out, and least not on a first try. Life had never given him anything this easily. And yet he had to wonder how he may pay for it later. Maybe, he didn't believe old tales and legends, but he did believe something good always meant there would be something equally bad if not worse on the way. Come to think of it, maybe this was just a return on all the hell he'd been through. Summit was rather pleased with himself, noting his new leader's amusement. Greer wasn't half bad. Though it helped he was easily amused by him rather than irritated. He didn't always mean to get under another wolf's skin. The terrain changed, and a full view of his new home greeted him. The rocky peaks, where stream parted, and great fir trees. He was speechless. Eyes taking it all in, his amazement was evident. They sure had picked quite the spot. Realizing he was being spoken to his eyes fluttered in time to catch the shadow's expression. A smile split his lips. "No more rock throw, " he agreed. {fade} |
