RE: Rock in the road - Isaura - Nov 04, 2017 She was curious now that it had become apparent to her that this land wasn't owned by anyone. If he didn't live here then where were the two of them going? She didn't exactly care where as long as they weren't headed in the direction of her home. Away would be even better yet she knew that she couldn't keep running. She was bound to reach some obstacle that she wouldn't be able to overcome. So if Ruari wanted her with him and away from here, she had absolutely no reason to fight him on it. At the very least they could keep each other company. The smile that had remained on his features fell and Isaura's ears flicked back worriedly. Was her question that bothersome? She hadn't thought that it was too intrusive but perhaps she had been wrong. If something as simple as wanting to know where they were going was going to cause trouble perhaps she would have to reconsider travelling with him... It soon became apparent that it wasn't her question but their goal that had caused Ruari to become agitated. His brother to be specific. They had gotten into an argument and then they had parted ways. Isaura knew all about arguments and fights between siblings. More specifically she knew what it was like to be the cut off one and on the losing end of them. A concerned expression crossed her face as he vented how he couldn't go very fast. She took that moment to give him a thorough once over. He had wounds on his flank, shoulder, and paw. They looked like they were still healing and that probably meant every time he moved they reopened a bit. She had already noticed that he was thin but now she knew the reason why and a faint frown tugged at her lips. Had his brother done all that? If he had it didn't seem to deter Ruari from finding him. She didn't have that bond with her brother in the slightest, she wished she did, however, she knew that it would never happen. If she could help Ruari with his brother maybe she would be able to at least see what it was like even if she couldn't have it. Isaura knew he was waiting for an answer from her so she softened her face and let her frown fade away. She could see that he was frustrated and wanting to help a little she moved towards him to rub her head gently on the underside of his chin and cheek. She hoped the physical contact would help him relax and be more at ease. I don't mind helping. She murmured. But first I want to at least get you a decent meal. RE: Rock in the road - Ruari - Nov 05, 2017 [dohtml] Ruari hadn't planned to say anything but then he supposed he didn't think she would agree to come with him. He knew he could tell her he wasn't going to leave her alone or that she shouldn't be in the foggy forest but she did have her own mind. He wouldn't do what it took to make her go with him if she really was against it. That wasn't in him and after seeing what his mother had gone through he wasn't going to inflict anything like that on the blue eyed girl.[/dohtml] RE: Rock in the road - Isaura - Nov 06, 2017 Even if she had wanted to run off and leaving him searching on his own she couldn't not when she knew that he was hurt. Isaura knew about being hurt and no one helping and a part of her couldn't stand to see someone else in a similar situation. Even though didn't have any medical knowledge she felt that having a good meal could be just as helpful as some herbs if the wound wasn't deep. The fact that Ruari had been making it on his own so far then he was probably going to be fine. Thin but fine, though him being hungry wasn't going to be as much of issue now as long as she could find prey. Which was partly what she had been doing when she had heard his voice. The scent of rabbits was in the area and if the two hadn't scared them off with there interaction then she figured they wouldn't be all that hard to find. There were other scents here as well but the most recent one to her was the rabbits beside Ruari's. After finding them then she would simply have to catch them. She couldn't quite see the smile seeing as how she was rather close to him but she could hear it in his voice and how he trailed his muzzle across her own. So used to having any sort of touch being dominating and controlling Isaura enjoyed the fact that Ruari's was neither. If anything he didn't seem like he was going to do any of those things anytime soon and for that she even more grateful. I guess I better make sure it's a good one then. She responded before she set off to find them both something to eat. Ruari's meal would come first of course. Then maybe she would find something for herself because she wasn't sure how long it would take them to find Ruari's brother if they found him at all. First things first though and that was food. -Fade- |
