RE: i've been thinking too much - Maeve - Dec 21, 2017 [dohtml] Well that settled it then. The boy didn't protest, so Maeve would just go ahead and tag along, save herself some trouble in the long run. Just how old was he even? Seven, eight months? Way too young to be taking a hike up over the mountains all alone, that's for sure. And again, with it being Winter and all, there's no way in hell she'd get off free of charge letting him do all that! " 'Aight, guess y' earned yer'self a travelin' buddy then!" She grinned, tail wagging softly behind her. The fae didn't quite care for travel, however it'd sure be nice to get away from everything for just a bit. A nice fresh breath of air. And hey, if luck was on her side, maybe they wouldn't be welcome wherever the hell they were going and she'd get to show this pup just how tough she was! "Didja tell anyone you was goin'? Or is this'a top secret mission?" A.K.A. Will Celandine be able to figure out where the hell she went or was she still going to be in trouble when she returned. [/dohtml]RE: i've been thinking too much - Cyril - Dec 22, 2017 [dohtml] He mirrored her own tail wag with one of his own, although it was at a slower pace and his lips did not curve upward into a smile. As much as he would have preferred to travel on his own Cyril knew that his mother would prefer him to have company, especially since she did not want him to go. Not with the arrival of proper winter weather. And a mountain in the way. Unsure of how to silently get his message across the charcoal boy reluctantly opened his mouth, his voice hoarse from lack of use as the single word tumbled off his tongue: Mom. No top secret missions this time, unfortunately. That could wait until the grief had ebbed away and the boy had gotten situated in his new home. The last thing his mother needed was him disappearing without a word. She had already been through enough. wanna fade w/ your next one? :B <3
RE: i've been thinking too much - Maeve - Jan 08, 2018 [dohtml] Omg I'm so sorry it took me so long!! They holidays really did a number on me Dx!!!
Ahh, so at the very least his mother knew. Maeve was sure word would get around and Celandine would be able to put two and two together. Although it was a bit out of character for the fae to offer her company to another wolf, especially one that wasn't exactly a familiar face. Well, even if she'd never admit it out loud, the orphan had quite a soft spot for children. Especially ones who've experienced more than they should for their age. Given the circumstances she was positive that Cella would be alright with it. "Ah, okay. Well, y' ready t' get goin' then?" She smiled. "Gonna wanna start travelin' while we still got some daylight, it's gonna get cold y' know, after the sun sets." Seriously, screw winter. Turning her body to face the mountain, the grey female waited for her companies command. [/dohtml]//If you're not posting a fade then we can just assume they started walking after this xD RE: i've been thinking too much - Cyril - Jan 09, 2018 @Maeve archiving now! <3 [dohtml] …y’ ready t’ get goin’ then? He nodded softly, his yellow gaze trailing to the mountain looming in the distance. He wouldn’t be gone long—a week or so, depending on the weather conditions. The silver fae looked capable, which meant she would be able to match his pace. Or vice versa. He shivered at the thought of the cold settling in but he knew it was inevitable. His thoughts mirrored hers: screw winter. Without another word Cyril stepped forward with his silver companion, his limbs buzzing with excitement at the thought of seeing his friend once more… in four to five days, depending on travel time… but it would be worth it.
