Hawthorne eased up when Askan declared he was giving Lenka one chance. It was a miracle mentioning the girl had snapped to defend herself. The young Edge wolf would have done something it was her place but instead she just huffed. At Askan's motion, Hawthorne quickly moved to bump against him. I'm gonna look for Sachiel and probably finish up a patrol. Maybe scout a little. She would quickly try to place a respectful submissive lick to his chin before splitting up from them. Not without giving the girl one last look, though. Pumpkin Eyes had plenty to tell her companion Plant Boy - once she could hunt him done.

The alpha’s response to her outburst caused her fur to fluff in embarrassment, but her head shot up when he actually accepted her. Her ears pricked and her tail started wagging of its own accord. “Of course, thank you, I won’t let you down!”
The younger wolf with them dismissed them easily, trotting off without even a welcome. Rude. Lenka snorted to herself, but didn’t voice it. She needed to prove that she wasn’t going to be a poor addition to the pack. She would need to earn her position here, and though she’d never had to work for anything before, she actually found the idea of earning her way a welcome challenge. Looking forward to her future, the Artemieva stepped into her new home.
