Elias had just wanted to say his piece, he didn't really think that it would scare the bird away. And yet, Kyna joined in and sure enough the raven beat its mighty wings and zipped off, as though it had better places to be. He watched it go, his grey-blue eyes following it's retreating silhouette until it wasn't even a spec on the horizon. Good, go fly back home angry bird.

Now they could take Kyna's prize back home in peace, especially since their mouths were full. His tail swished in response to her praise as a dopey grin formed once more on his lips, praise was always welcome, but from someone as dignified as her? Elias lapped it up.

"Yes Ma'm!" Bowing down he grabbed a hold of his side once more and bit down hard till his grip was firm, he wouldn't be dropping it anytime soon. Not till it was time to bury it in one of their many caches.
