RE: Duty Bound - Adeltra - Jan 26, 2018 [dohtml] They hadn’t taken her cousin, that much was 100% positive, but she realized that maybe they didn’t only have one threat in the Heights wolves. What was to stop the wolf from taking more pups from other packs and blaming it all on them? Suddenly she was even more nervous. What if they had even more packs on their heels? They might be able to fend off the Heights wolves but if a whole slew of them came after the Ridge? Well, they’d be royally screwed. She swallowed. She looked over at Leotie, her brows raising in question. What do you mean? she asked, confused. It felt like they were looking at it right. Greer and Kyna were pissed at them for something they didn’t really know all the facts about and had falsely accused them. They were out looking for Revon perhaps to rectify that. What else were they supposed to be looking at? RE: Duty Bound - Leotie - Jan 27, 2018 [dohtml] The question that her companion had asked had started a whole new thought process for the Agouti woman. It was something she hadn't considered before she supposed because she had been so focused on her anger and how the heights wolves had behaved. It was about the wolf or wolves who took Revon. They didn't know how many but the part that now bothered her was that it seemed they had named Sven as Revons kidnapper. The question was why would they name him specifically without reason since he hadn't taken the pup. It was definitely something that they needed to consider because it could narrow down where they had to look. Adeltra didn’t seem to be following her thought process and in all honesty it wasn't something that Leotie had been very clear on. Having only just come to the conclusion she had. “Well I'm assuming since she's been kidnapped she is with the wolf that took her. We need to find that wolf and to do that we need to know who they are. To find that out I think that it would have to be a wolf with some grievance against us. Why else would they take Revon and then name Sven to Kyna and Greer?” She wasn't sure she explained it right but she tried to go in the steps that her brain was taking this. “We have to start where it started and follow the path to Revon.” At least that was her theory. [/dohtml]RE: Duty Bound - Adeltra - Jan 30, 2018 Feel free to fade in your next post with them going to tell @Ravenna about their thoughts!
[dohtml] The girl watched Leotie with a curious expression, wondering what she was talking about. Normally Adeltra was extremely perceptive about looking into the words of other wolves, but she just couldn’t seem to decipher what the agouti woman meant by her statement that they weren’t looking in the right area. Luckily she didn’t have to wait long and her companion explained it well. She thought it was a given that Revon would be with her captors and that they likely had a grudge against them. Why else would they go out of their way to frame the Ridge, unless they were just plain old spiteful creatures. If they were just spiteful that seemed to give her the willies more than someone with a vendetta. We should go tell Ravenna about this, she decided. Lay all their cards out on the table. Maybe Ravenna would agree and have them change their course of action. Instead of looking for Revon outright, maybe they should be looking for information on wolves that would have something against one of them? [Dohtml] The Agouti woman felt that if Adeltra wanted to have a paw in helping to find Revon she should understand the suggestion that was being made. She knew the first time she hadn't articulated it very well so she went in to explain it further. It seemed that the second time was a charm because Addy seemed to have a better understanding of what Leotie had said. Not to mention it had sounded much better coming out the second time. Much to her surprise the young Archer suggested they go and speak to Ravenna about this new theory that Leotie had come up with. She gave the child a nod before ending their current search to head back to the willows to explain things to Ravenna. Fade [/dohtml] |
