RE: witches - Sachiel - Mar 06, 2018 [dohtml] Sachiel almost felt bad for bombarding the new yearling. Almost. The duo was definitely giving him the third degree, grilling him probably more than they should have. He couldn’t help but feel a little protective over the shallows, as it was the home he’d always wanted. Hawthorne, Askan, Reyes—they were his family now. He couldn’t help but be cautious, even if Askan had been the one to welcome Idris into their ranks. The boy nodded in agreement at the description the newcomer had given. Scenic and cozy—those were good words to describe the shallows. Much better than the loud, obnoxious orange leaves in the south. It was quieter here; softer. Filled with emerald and sapphire hues. Clarity. Sachiel had been fortunate to stumble upon the grumpy Edge Lord and his energetic sidekick, otherwise he might have passed through the northern woods without discovering the hidden gem. Who knows where he would have wound up… or if he would have returned to his parents in the south. Since Askan ’n Reyes formed the pack. He shrugged. Pumpkin Eyes had been around longer, for she had helped convince him to join (even though she didn’t know it). He thought about offering to take the yearling on a tour—maybe a patrol, or a hunt. Anything besides a game of twenty-one questions. But he’d wait to see how his sidekick responded first before offering to show the ebony youth around. RE: witches - Hawthorne - Apr 14, 2018 [dohtml] She couldn't argue with his answer about the place. It was indeed scenic and cozy. A rather soft and secluded place compared to the rough wolves that lived here. Hawthorne figured it balanced things out in the end. I was here a bit before that too. She vaguely tagged on after her partner, a sharp shrug of her shoulders. The rag-tag group had lingered in the area before officially setting up camp. It was how she had ended up stumbling upon Plant Boy. Screaming at each other in the middle of the night. It would have been a pretty good story to tell but she had no interests in delving into their strange first meetings. She let her toes clench at the earth before she spoke up again. Think we've questioned you enough. Her tail gave a few short sways, maybe he wasn't perfect but no one was. Idris seemed fair enough and Hawthorne could live with that. Maybe we can show you around now? If you want. She offered before glancing at the two Edge males. RE: witches - Idris - Apr 25, 2018 [dohtml] It was clear by their answers that they had been here long enough to have plenty of seniority over him (not that he had questioned that before). The two of them had done their grilling and while it was a little invasive, Idris felt it was necessary given that he was essentially a strange living amongst them. It would take a while to truly make his peace here but maybe he'd truly become one with the Edge someday soon. I wouldn't turn down what is offered, he responds to Hawthorne and she suggests that they take him on a tour of the Edge. One that was a little more official than simply wandering around on his own. Maybe then he'd get to know his pack mates a little easier. Orange eyes drift to Sachiel, curious if he was in for a tour before eventually turning and beginning to follow whoever took the lead. exit w/ sachiel and hawthorne? RE: witches - Sachiel - Apr 28, 2018 @Idris @Hawthorne archived [dohtml] … think we’ve questioned you enough. Probably, but that didn’t mean Sachiel was done. However, he wasn’t interested in making enemies with his packmates. Not like when he had tested the patience of a particular blue-eyed yearling. Sachiel didn’t really care for anyone in the pack other than Pumpkin Eyes and his two Edge Lords, but he still had to mostly get along with his packmates. He nodded softly, though kept his lips pinched tight as he glanced over at his peppered friend. A tour wasn’t a bad idea, especially when Sachiel (and his sidekick) were quite proud of their home along the shallows. Motioning for the pair to follow him, the agouti boy bumped his friend’s shoulder before starting the tour, allowing her to take the lead (as she was the better conversationalist of the two)… Fade — thread complete. |
