RE: Pax in Morte - Leotie - Apr 19, 2018 [dohtml] Leotie hadn't ever experienced the death of someone close to her, even someone who wasn't close to her. She knew there were certain respects that needed to be paid to the dead and the ones left behind. Addy was important to her as well as Ravenna and Sven, she couldn't imagine how hard they would all take the former leaders death. The young Archer was clearly taking it badly. Leotie hoped that she could somehow silently convey to the girl that she would he there for her if she ever wanted to talk.
She didn't know but I'm for now she felt like being there and offer whatever support she could would be enough for the time being. Later she could seek her out and tell her so that she would know. Looking at Nicolo's still body she knew she would miss him too even if she didn't know him as well as some of the others. She also knew that Ravenna would need her now maybe more than ever and she would be there for whatever the alpha needed. Leotie had always saw her position as on in which she backs the female lead up. Ravenna was a strong woman though and she had faith in her that she would get through it.
Blitz had joined them as well showing his support for the silver woman which she was happy to see. Ravenna needed someone to be there for her like she had Sven. Leotie wondered where he was and hoped that ye would make it to say his goodbyes as well. She could scent two others outside the den, Lilith and the new guy who she had yet to meet. It was kind if them to come by though they had not known Nicolo.
The Agouti woman was prepared to stay for some time especially when Ravenna chose to exit the den. Leotie looked to Addy to see how she was doing. [/dohtml] RE: Pax in Morte - Adeltra - May 09, 2018 Last round! I'll be archiving this on the 30th, which will be a little over two months from his passing
[dohtml] She felt the presence of others shift, the den emptying by a few bodies and she was finally allowed to breathe again. She trembled against Nicolo’s corpse, memories of him flashing past the backs of her eyes, dredged up from the recesses of her mind. Memories of them playing together, memories of the stories he would tell her, memories of sleeping next to him and listening to his grizzly snoring, the times that he’d allowed Rom and her to get into all kinds of mischief. A sob escaped her, eyes squeezing tightly shut. She stayed in her position for what felt like hours. Until her tears had dried up, until she had finally calmed in a way that felt like an empty expanse of nothingness expanded before her. She rose to her paws, dipping her head to brush her tongue across his forehead in farewell before she moved to the entrance of the den. The whites of her eyes were red from crying and she looked disheveled. “The willow tree,” was all she rasped out before she turned back into the den, positioning herself to move the fallen Archer. She was, hollow, she was quiet, she was emotionless as the small band dragged the body to the willow tree to be buried next to so many others. It was there that she slept, curled atop the freshly moved earth in such a heavy slumber that she felt, daresay hoped, she would never wake again to the horrible feeling in her chest. RE: Pax in Morte - Ravenna - May 12, 2018 Ravenna felt like it had been hours that she was outside of the den, ever silent. She had moved into a lay, her head rested on her outstretched limbs. Her thoughts wandered to her uncle and she found herself daydreaming. The rest of the wolves in the area were dismissed as she thought to herself until finally movement stirred in the pack den and Adeltra immerged saying that she would like to bury her father at the place now known as the 'Necropolis'. A Willow tree, old and twisted and the marking point of those buried under it - Guiness, Skana, Adele, Isolde and now, Nicolo. The silver Lead lifted from her laid position and into the den after her cousin. She moved herself to the fallen man's head and took the thick fur of his scruff into her jaws in order to help bring the man to his final resting place. |
