RE: [BWP] [s] burning pile - Birtie - Apr 18, 2018 [dohtml] Her hackles raised, daring him to strike her when all he did was click his teeth. Damn fool. She hissed between clenched teeth. If he wanted to die to the least noble cause, a bunch of coyotes, then so be it. Perhaps it was the mood swings or maybe it was just how she felt towards him but she no longer cared what he did. She wasn't going to provide him with an extra set of paws of teeth. With her mood only further taking a nose dive she pulled away from Kajika with a foul look on her face. And what do I tell them if something happens to you? She spoke with daggers, no longer focused on the company in the background. Who did he think he was? He had just as much responsibility - if not more - than her. Forget it. If you two want to play heroes then so be it. Without a concern left for either of them, she turned around and began to swiftly move back towards the Cove. It wasn't that far and she figured that if they were smart they'd leave with her. Surely the coyotes wouldn't be stupid enough to follow them were more numbers were. -Birtie exit- RE: [BWP] [s] burning pile - Kajika - Apr 18, 2018 @Tagg you can fade and Archive with your next post.
[Dohtml] Kajika was ready to throw his paws up and save his own skin from the coyotes with the way these two were bickering at each other. With coyotes coming for them and worrying about getting them both back to the cove safely he wasn't much in the mood for reprimanding. It was time they went especially since they wouldn't be able to get help there in time to save them from the six coyotes that we're still closing in.
Then Tagg had to open his mouth and say something that totally rubbed him the wrong way. “You better give a damn,” he told the tawny Guardian, “It would kill Moonshadow if something happened to you." Then his attention was turned on Birtie as she spoke. It was a question that she should not have felt the need to utter. He wasn't going to get into it with her there. “Nothing is going to happen to me,” he assured her knowing that wasn't nearly enough. Kajika turned back to Tagg, “Your coming with us or we're not going,” and that was probably the stupidest thing he'd said during the entire conversation. And a huff left him as Birtie stormed off. “Tagg come,” he ordered thanking the heavens he was an alpha and could do that. He started after Birtie but stopped to make sure the Guardian was following. [/dohtml]RE: [BWP] [s] burning pile - Tagg - Apr 18, 2018 Tagg knew he shouldn't be arguing - it was like he was a young man learning and getting his comrades killed for the first time again. He'd learned and grown and taken command and was unused to being questioned. But this was not the Ridge. This was not a war - yet - and these were not his soldiers. He couldn't even give orders here. He turned back to warn the coyotes away again as Kajika dealt with his lady. The guardian was ordered to follow, and Tagg hesitated. He yearned to sink his teeth into coyote flesh; blind rage burned in his chest, but he needed his alpha. With a last vengeful snarl at the smaller canines swirling at the edge of safety, the russet man turned and ran after his packmates. FADE |
