RE: A legend made - Reiko - Jul 09, 2018 Super quick post before I head off to work! Sorry! :( [dohtml] With Ravenna and Sven's trust, Reiko had set about doing a lot of border patrols though he kept mostly to himself in these strange but welcome times. Being on the outs with family, even just a little, was upsetting but he had to remember that he wasn't his sister, nor his father or anyone else. He had to make his own life without the pull of another. He didn't want strings, he wanted freedom. The call for a meeting was something new and Reiko tried not to waste any of his leaders time and leapt to his feet as quick as he could to get there. Though, as he arrived it was certainly not quick enough. Many had already shown up so Reiko simply took a seat nearby, awaiting their words. It looked as though they had gathered together some food for everyone but he didn't want to make the assumptions and simply go grab something. That would be rather rude and an awful first impression to those here that didn't know him (and boy, was it practically everyone). Instinctively he pinpointed Leotie out of the group first as she was the one that made him feel most comfortable. The reason he was here at all. Then, without knowing her or what she looked like, he tried to figure out who Addy ( @Adeltra ) was. The girl that Leotie had said would have been the most welcoming at all and he had assumed he'd see her when he came to visit and join but no dice. Leotie had said she'd be helpful but he had yet to find whoever his friend had named. YOU CAN'T BLAME GRAVITY FOR FALLING IN LOVE RE: A legend made - Lilith - Jul 10, 2018 forgive me
[dohtml]The pack had changed greatly from the one she had joined. Multiplying right before her eyes. But, it was a change she approved of. There was strength and unity. One craving satisfied. A combination of heat, and work had kept her in a deep sleep. Nestled in the familiar pack den where she spent most of her nights. Usually she'd been aware of others coming and going. It was not until a call rang out did she break from her slumber, half startled by the suddenly emptying den, and the blood that tinted the air. Of all mornings to get a true rest. She felt like she'd been caught lying down on the job. So As the others ventured out she tried to shake the sleep from her eyes. Her limbs. Hopefully as she came out greeting the cool morning she didn't look entirely out of it. Gold eyes traced along her fellow packmates, lingering a little longer on a white figure, and she realized something was different. A celebration was at hand. A true smile lit her dark facade as she found place among other subordinates. [/dohtml] RE: A legend made - Emmaline - Jul 11, 2018 (S for Swearing) Sorry for taking so long to reply! :( Thoughts. Speech.
Her breath came in deep gasps, her legs felt like they were going to fall off and her thoughts were filled with the desire to feed, so she kept running. Not 100 feet in front of her was the biggest stag deer she had ever seen, and it ran in terror from her. She smiled as she ran forward, "Soon you will be mine!" she felt like shouting, but she did not want to waste her breath, she was tired, this was the longest and best chase she had ever experienced. She growled and ran faster, until she was almost close enough to leap onto the stag's back, when it dodged to the side and she had to move out of the way of a tree in front of her. "SHIT!" She exclaimed, thinking her prey was gone, but luck seemed to favor her today, because the stag was now laying on the ground with a broken leg. Emmy looked just behind it and saw a cluster of tree roots that came out of the ground, lucky that the cedars here grew so thick. She got up and walked over to her prey, looking at it laying there, she could tell that it was terrified but ready to accept it's own death, she gave a silent thanks for it's life and rose her head back, her mouth salivating at the thought of fresh meat, her eyes wild with the desire to taste blood. She took a breath and threw her head forward to deliver the final bite, CRUUUUNCH, was the only sound that filled the air as she broke the neck of the stag. She let go, took a breath and got ready to feed. She leaned forward, mouth agape and took a mouthfu--- Emmy started awake as the sound of the pack leader's came to her ears. She was dreaming, "DAMMIT!" she said under her breath, "But it was such a good kill." She whined to herself, she thought about the dream for a few more moments before reluctantly admitting that it was just a dream, and she was being beckoned by real wolves, her pack leaders. She got up and yawned, taking a moment to stretch, she smelled the blood in the air, "Wait... what?" She thought. She wasted no time in walking over to the group of wolves in front of her, it looked like everyone else was already here, she felt slightly guilty about waiting around over some dream. She scanned the area and saw the goat on the ground, and immediately got excited about the idea of fresh meat, she was hungry after that dream. She took another look and noticed @Lilith sitting not far from where she stood. Emmy smiled and walked over to her before sitting down. She looked over to the leaders and gave a polite nod in greeting, and looked at Lilith... "So what's going on here?" RE: A legend made - Freyja - Jul 11, 2018 [dohtml] That morning, Freyja was slow to rise. She felt like sleeping in late. And who wouldn't? The little female had grown to love sleeping in the massive main den. Inside there was welcome relief from the suffocating heat of the day, but just enough warmth from the bodies of her extended family to keep her comfortable. With her mom Sven gone for the evening, she was unconcerned. The adults were often gone for extended periods of time, but there was always someone else around. Actually, several someones. Sharing the den with her, Ragnar and her father were her brother and sister. There was her second, agouti colored mom of course. Sprawled contently on her back, head pressed against the crook of Blitz' shoulder and laying next to Ragnar, her ears shot up at the sound of Ravenna's call. Something was going on...but she was still sleepy. She scrunched her muzzle in protest as her father moved, nudging her awake. With a low grumble she blinked her blue eyes open, peering towards the light where everyone was gathering. From out there the delicious smell of fresh meat hit her nose, but as the carcass came into view, she was more interested in the scents lining the rams pelt. Emerging slowly, she shuffled through those gathered, plopping herself at the head of the beast, tiny jaws experimentally mouthing one curled, mighty horn. RE: A legend made - Ravenna - Jul 15, 2018 As leader, please allow Sven to post next. Then it's free for all, no post order, no additional posts necessary. Next round will be in about a week.
[dohtml] The two leaders, one off-white and one pale grey with both silvery hued eyes sat firm on the other side of the kill while their pack members filtered in from the den opening. The first to come, just after Ravenna's short call, was not from the pack den at all however as Blackmoore came to them from what seemed like one of his runs. Ravenna, as surely other members in the ranks (prodominately the others taking up guarding) had noticed that the dark coated male usually worked the borders at night which gave Blitz the time needed to stay with his pups overnight. At the silent dip of his head in greeting Ravenna offered the same and then turned her attention to the den as Adeltra and Leotie came out. She moved her blood stained muzzle into the dark fur of Adeltra's nape as she greeted her and then as she moved on to Sven, Ravenna offered Leotie a smile in greeting who, like Blackmoore, entered the gathering silently. Next to come out was Blitz and she could see the four children behind him struggling to get their bearings now that their parents were leaving the den. To Blitz' words she couldn't help the smirk which touched her expression. "Well if you don't think you deserve it..." She toyed, lifting up one of her front leg to place it over the middle of the ram as though to pretend to pull it away from him though her ovements were cut short by the tug back on the ram and then the little howl of her son who greeted the sunset. Her scruffy tail drags back and forth along the forest floor of her home at the display of her son as she then watched Enia exit the den to which she offered her a dip of her muzzle in greeting two.
Then Enoki arrived out from the side of the gathering group who mostly came out from the communal den. Enoki must have found settlement away from the rest of the pack though Ravenna said nothing about it, not now, even if she had thought she would have been content to sleep in the main den along the side of her daughter. "Not late at all. We're still waiting for a few members to get here. " Reiko had still not arrived as we as Lilith and Emmaline. If anything perhaps Lilith had went out on an early search for food with her protege in tow. It only took a few more moments for the other three wolves to arrive. Reiko came along from the side, perhaps on a patrol in the same manner which Blackmoore had been and then came out Lilith and Emmaline from the den, tiredness still on their eyes as they were woken to the new dawn of day as the sky lite up with color. Ravenna had not expected the pair to still be slumbering, which caused a smirk to move over her expression. Her silver eyes fell on the yearling whom whispered to Lilith of what was going on and she cleared her throat, ready to begin. "Sven and I felt as though a pack meeting was long overdue and that a gift to our members was warranted." A paw lifted to place itself on the kill before them as her attention shift between each of her group. "Willow Ridge has lived on and prevailed through six summers now and today we will celebrate the memory of all those who helped build it and make it strong." Not including the four children, eleven grown wolves were before her, numbers which neither her nor Sven had seen since the days of Elettra Archer and Angier Lyall's ruling. If her parents were looking down on them now, she knew they'd be proud. "We have some ground rules and announcements to cover before we can all eat and mingle." She shift her eyes to Sven at her side before back to her pack to continue. "As many of you know, Sven and I are age-mate aunt and nephew. It is due to this that two litters were born this Spring. Though next Spring is far from now, let's not get it twisted that only Sven and I along with our chosen partner, may have puppies." As of right now those chosen were Leotie and Blitz and the partners which her and Sven so trusted had seemed like the best choice as of yet. They were respected members of the ranks and close friends. They could be counted on. Of course things could change for next year though it was a discussion to be saved for much later. "As it stands, there may be some of you that only joined the pack for protection and shelter. Not many enjoy induring the winter alone and the influx of coyote in the area has made loner life ever more challenging. We only ask that you make your intentions known to your leaders and work hard like everyone else to insure our survival while you are here. When you leave, let us know, for abandonment will not be tolerated and you will not be allowed back for the next go around." Ravenna was completely understanding that many of the members before her would not be here for the rest of their lives. Perhaps some had intention of traveling, to view what all Relic Lore had to offer or even beyond this region to lands far beyond. Maybe some planned to later on rekindle with family or even perhaps create a new family of their own. Either way, simply allowing the Leaders to know their plans was all they asked. Keeping connected, working , was what it meant to be Pack after all.
"Now down to the fun part..." She said with a smirk. "I'd like to accounce roles to the females of the pack who had worked diligently to receive these titles." Her eyes then settled themselves on Leotie, as they should. She had been here the longest, had been a very active and trusted member in their pack and had asked for this position a time ago. Though in many eyes of the pack she had already been a Scout amongst them, the official title was well overdue. "Leotie will be holding the position of Lead Scout, as this is a position she has proved herself worthy of far more times then I can recall. Along her side will be Adeltra," She continued as her eyes fixed on the yearling. "who will be a Scout of our ranks as well." Her eyes then fixed themselves of Lilith, for although she had little one on one conversations with the woman and did not know her as well as she may have otherwise hoped, the woman even if she did keep to herself prodominately, had done her job consistently and affectively. "Lilith has been far successful at not only keeping our caches filled with smaller prey, but keeping track of the large game herds for us and as such, will be given the role of Huntress." She smiled to the dark woman and then turned away only to allow her eyes to settle upon Enoki. The elder woman had only just recently arrived after spending so much time away searching for her daughter. She still had much rest to gain, meat to build on her bones, but after all she had done for the pack, she was rightfully so not just some elder to be swept under the rug, thought to be of no use. "Enoki," Her expression was soft for the woman, whom, had she not been there to guide her in her youth after her parents died, might not have been where she was at now. Ravenna and Sven were still young and now with new pups, surely they could use more guidance yet still. "I would be honored if you would accept the role of Consul." Silence would then befall the silver Queen, awaiting the piebald woman's answer before then turning to side-glance at Sven, leaving the floor open for him to speak. [dohtml] The pack gathered swiftly, as was usual for the Ridge wolves. They were a more cohesive unit than Sven could ever remember. If there had been a time where Elettra's children's rampant desires hadn't polarized the group, it had been when he kept to the outskirts where he'd been born and thus been outside of it all. Now, at only three years old, they were the eldest Archers within the ranks, and without the chaos of the others the Ridge was once again the effective, tight knit band. Every day he was proud of what they had accomplished together, but today was a day for Sven and Ravenna to exude that pride openly. A victory lap, one might call it. When the children joined the gathering Sven stepped away from the kill and his co-lead to greet each one with a nuzzle and a lick before running his muzzle against Leotie's cheek. Enoki's presence followed and pulled him further away from the center of the circle, as he gave her a reverent lick to her chin before settling in close to her flank. He'd seen far too much death to be naive about the situation the older woman was in; her mate dead and one of her children still missing, in addition to her age, likely meant, to his knowledge, that they would be losing her soon. Just as he had with Elettra, Sven would make sure that Enoki knew she was adored and appreciated. Avella joined him, and he smiled down at her and then, in turn, her brother who was quickly to glue himself back onto her hip. All present and settled, Ravenna began, Sven's silver eyes turning up to meet his aunt's. As she mentioned the length of their reign, his head lifted a bit higher and his chest swelled with an intense sense of accomplishment. Compared to the legacy of Torbine, that was nothing, but here in the Lore? Every year, the Archers made history. Some might have thought that the rules Ravenna went on to reiterate were already clear, but oh so many times they both had watched others break them, repeatedly, and damaged the pack in the process. Family, old friends, it wouldn't matter how sterling their record or how close their ties to either leader; a crime against the Ridge would be punished swiftly and with finality. As Ravenna laid out their expectations clearly, his eyes scanned the gathered wolves. He wasn't expecting dissent, but still he gauged their expressions. The announcements were quick to turn celebratory once again, his favorite part, really, of all that they had planned to say. Their members had earned this, recognition for all their hard work and the aspirations behind it. Leotie and Adeltra both were given a proud smile, as well as Lilith, and when Enoki's time came, he gave her a supportive nudge with her shoulder. Each were given their time to respond if they so wished, before it was Sven's turn. "Men," he began, drawing the attention to him from the three other of-age males within the pack before forging ahead. "You've got your positions as well. Blitz, you're now our Lead Guardian. We'll be working closely together to organize the pack's security. Blackmoore, we'd like you to take the title of Guardian as well. Reiko, Enia; I'd like you both to think seriously about where you'd like to fit in within our roles, and we can talk about how to get you there." "Congratulations everyone. We're proud of every single one of you, and thankful that you've helped us get to where we are today." He hoped they were able to feel at least a fraction of the amount of joy and satisfaction that he did. "One more round of the boring-but-important-stuff, and then we can dig in. We'd like to reiterate to you all that our neighbors, both the Scowle and the Heights, while not allied, are lead by Archers. We're on uh. Friendly terms with both, but keep us informed of any run-ins with them." It would be clear that Sven was far from trusting his family as well as Ravenna still did, and while the storm clouds had dissipated, there was no telling when they would suddenly build again. Sven wanted to be on as top of it all as possible. "Remember also that for your safety, we expect you to have at least one other member with you if you're leaving the pack's territory, and if you've a mind to take a few of those mutts out while you're gone, please do, just be careful about it. Maybe take a newly-appointed guardian or two with you, I know Blackmoore has a few ideas about how to hunt them down." Yeah, that was about it, his silver eyes flickering to Ravenna to signal the end before he stood up, and approached the butchered ram once more. "Oh and, Lilith, Emmaline, we'll be expecting you two to organize a hunt for us soon," he said with a wink to their charcoal huntress. RE: A legend made - Enoki - Jul 17, 2018 A warm greeting met the elderly magpie as she entered the scene, chuckling lightly at Ravenna's comment toward those last couple stragglers that had yet to appear before her attention was drawn toward the pale figure of Sven as he approached to offer the oldest outstanding member of the Ridge; despite her brief time away, with a warm greeting of his own. The reverent lick to her chin returned with a quick preening of the spot behind his ear once his form came to settle close to her flank, acknowledging the display of respect and adoration he offered her. Sven had always been a wise one since the first breath he took and although the duo had a very rocky start to their relationship, Enoki was proud of the man he had become today and the things he had accomplished in just three years alongside her niece/adopted daughter. Elettra would be proud of them both. Finally the last of those yet to arrive finally crawled out from the communal den after finding it hard to wake up much like herself, Ravenna clearing her throat to signal that the meeting had officially began before starting her speech. Amber irises settled on the woman's silvered face and listened closely to the words she spoke, pride swelling in her chest and her eyes sparkling with the joy she felt toward how prosperous Willow Ridge was today despite the history of turmoil and constant shifts amongst the ranks. Six summers they have survived and Enoki believed they would thrive for well over six more under the reign of the Archers. A family she had been married into through Nicolo, but felt apart of nonetheless the moment she first pledged her loyalty to Elettra all those years ago. Next came a reiteration of rules already well known to Enoki, but was meant more so for the newcomers that perhaps didn't know and kept the chance of blurred lines on some aspects in check before making it clear that intentions for those newer members were to be made clear. At this she simply nodded and allowed her gaze to shift about the meeting area to gauge the faces of these new wolves she hadn't had the chance to meet one on one. Yet. Silvered ears piqued curiously at the mention of roles and as one by one they were issued to her fellow subordinates, a wide smile spread across her maw listening to their responses to their hard earned roles. It came as no surprise that Adeltra earned herself a proper title of Scout, doing her mother proud to see how hard she was working every day to ensure the Ridge was top notch. The last title issued, though, caught Enoki by surprise. The smile upon her maw only grew wider and her ivory dipped tail thumped contently behind her rump, momentarily glancing to Sven at her side when he nudged her shoulder to nudge the top of her marred snout against his shoulder in return before looking back to Ravenna. "I'd be honored to have such a role. This pack, you and Sven have grown so much since the day you two were born and I look forward to bestowing the knowledge I've acquired over my long, long years on this earth upon the next generation and anyone else who has a yearning to listen to our history." With that, the elderly woman grew silent to give the floor back to the leaders to continue onward. Sven taking the spotlight now to give the men of the pack their well deserved roles before adding his own important information into the mix. For a moment as she listened to the leader at her side speak about two other packs led by Archers, confusion washed over her age worn features. The Heights she knew about briefly before she left, but this Scowle pack was a mystery to her. She knew not what Archer led them, but soon as the meeting came to a close and festivities enjoyed she would seek time alone with Sven to acquire this knowledge and anything else she should know about them. But for now her stomach grumbled with such unforseen voracity at the tantalizing scent of the ram waiting to be devoured. Well, her appetite was back. RE: A legend made - Ragnar - Jul 17, 2018 Ragnar's attention was fleeting, his puppy blue eyes darting in all directions as the wolves of Willow Ridge gathered. He had seen all of them before, scented them all, though perhaps not spoken to all... Still, he had never seen so many of them all together at once like they were now. It was over to him and yet he enjoyed the rush, the excitement causing his tail to wake and the hair along the back of his nape to rise. He wanted to take it all in, understand what was going on and so found himself moving at quietly as he could through the group, shifting through long legs and under bushy tails. He paused at @Reiko whom quite possibly could have been the largest one there but Ragnar was uncertain. Then to @Enia he lifted up on his back legs to sniff at her cheek. He was not a shy boy, that was for sure, but he was rather quiet. His obvious curiosity was shown through expressive and seeking eyes instead of a flood of questions. By the time his mother began to speak he had found his way to @Freyja and he too chewed at the curled horn of the ram as she did. Though they silently played his attention shifted through the crowd as they spoke. RE: A legend made - Blackmoore - Jul 17, 2018 [dohtml] The man have waited patiently as the pack gathered, keeping himself still and for the most part pretty brisk and awake. Fortunately for him, nobody had come to rebuke him for occasional slip of the eyelid as the man usually was returning from his patrols about this hour - before lying down for some R and R as they say. On the other hand, being trained soldier, Blackmoore had been quite used to the feeling. Not to mention the conditions he had been tested through - in comparison his desire to lie down and nap a little was nothing, especially with a such juicy kill involved and waiting for tasting. Thus the man just kept silent, waiting patiently while sinking into various thoughts, throwing an occasional eagle eye towards those who came as well as the leaders. If someone noticed him, he'd would give them a polite nod, but other than that - the man kept mostly still. Conserved the energy. As for the leaders, obviously one of them gathered more of the looks from him than the other, as the man wondered about the prospects for the future. As well if there were any... It took them a while before finally Ravenna had spoke up, announcing the beginning of the meeting. Marking the fact that they were all assembled as well, letting the dark male to finally come up to date about the 'roster'. Working night shifts had it's downsides it seemed, as the male found himself a little surprised by likes of Enoki and Reiko. But the man kept it to himself, taking a mental note that perhaps he'd should ease out a little bit, if possible, to get to known pack a little bit better. Also because it would mean more chances to mingle with a certain someone who was taking the stage right now. That however, would be hard for time being, as long as coyotes have been seemingly trying to carve out their own kingdom amidst the wolf holdings in these lands... Either way, the man had been listening intently, as the silver amazonian was making her announcements. He had gave her a little inquisitive look as she spoke about who was eligible for children. Since the topic had been left open, Blackmoore assumed it might have been a simple bait to entice others to work fair and hard for their privilege. He could of course be entirely wrong about it, in any case the man himself had only one interest among the women of the ridge. And only the time will tell will the man finally come to sprout the proverbial roots - or will he find himself forced to leave and wander again... In any case, the future was unknown to him. The only thing he'd was certain about was his crush, and that he was in for quite a ride... The male wasn't expecting much as Sven took the stage from Ravenna. After all, he wasn't here as long as others were. Nor he sired any children, as Blitz did and to whom the male had tossed a pretty ambiguous look once or twice. So the first announcement wasn't much of a surprise, the one following it however - was. It haven't gone flying above his head, despite the weariness that was affecting him. No, not at all - as the male had nodded in a way to show he'd heard and graciously accepted the nomination. Also showing himself up to those who had not come into contact with him yet. Since Sven haven't even made a pause, the man opted for silence for the time being. In a way, Blackmoore had been pleasantly surprised with by this promotion and despite remaining 'at attention' for the most part - a curious eye would be able to spot a brief smile as the man gave a curious gaze towards the lead female. The dark male had been obviously wondering about the advancement and how much of a paw she might had in it. Was it an entirely professional decision and alike. What the man had found funny right now about these deliberations was the fact he had been slightly torn between hoping that he'd earned it entirely through hard work and hoping that other things had also played a role in it. He knew those were silly thoughts to begin with, nevertheless he couldn't hope not to entertain himself with those for the time being... "I'm sure their scouts talk the same, but about me." The male joked with a grin once Sven had mentioned his name for a second time, marking a first time when Blackmoore had actually spoke during the meeting. The man had of course referred to his regular escapades just beyond the border in order to mess up with the coyotes that tried to scout up the borders of the willow ridge. For that, obviously, the best time to go was during the nights just like the one that was behind them. After that, the male had returned to his well practiced stance of listening and politely waiting for the next turn of the events. Or till someone will grace him with a word or two directly... [/dohtml] RE: A legend made - Blitz - Jul 18, 2018 [dohtml] Patiently, he would wait for the meeting to commence, while the remaining members of the Ridge filtered in. Poised like an elegantly carved obsidian statue, his eyes darted between his pale leaders, then to the children..to make sure they weren't getting too mischievous, and then to the many new, often rarely seen faces of the others who called the Ridge home. At this, it was with a pang and a twist of regret, that the Mizuno male realized just how much catching up he had to do. Sure, he had been here a while now, but the whole time he had been so busy working his tail off. Everyone had. As Ravenna began to speak, proudly announcing that Willow Ridge had stood intact for six years, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He held his head up just a little higher, green eyes holding a subtle glimmer. He may not be an Archer by any means, but from the get go, he had felt connected to this forest and the bloodline of wolves who called it home. He even had the honor of strengthening their lineage, proof in the identical twin siblings. Every way in which he was involved with this pack, Blitz was proud. The rules for what to expect next spring didn't come as a surprise to him. He understood the breeding rights of the lead male and female. Unknowing of what next year would bring, he could only hope and try his damnedest to persuade Ravenna that he was the only suitable male in the Ridge worthy of being her life partner. She went on to a lighter topic...the issuing of official roles. His dark ears stiffened attentively, eyes focused as he waited to see who would be of special mention today. He could name several wolves in the group that he knew for a fact were quite deserving, even if his time spent with them one on one had been somewhat limited. Leotie as the lead scout hardly surprised him....nor did Adeltra as a scout, to both of whom he gave fond smiles. Lillith, though rarely seen, he knew worked hard at filling the caches and had proven herself a fine hunter, earning herself the title. And finally, his eyes fell with the most interest upon Enoki. An older piebald female with what he sensed as an air of gentle reverence about her. She was to be consul...and justly so. He knew nothing of how deeply entwined her life was with that of the Archers and this pack, but it must've been significant. "Congratulations, ladies." He stated in a soft tone of his tenor voice. As Sven took over and addressed the males, Blitz was all focused. His expectations hadn't been high. He was not a man afraid of hard work and certainly not lengthy duration's of it. When the ghostly male announced that he had earned the title of lead guardian, his chest grew heavy with pride. All that time and energy...hours working himself ragged, bravely throwing himself into many a brawl, had paid off. He had proven himself in the eyes of the pack, and he had never felt more whole. Blackmoore though, had worked almost, if not just as hard too and had also earned the role of guardian. Although there were at times where the males may not always be on the same wavelength, Blitz never harbored anything ill against him. So, he too was given a firm nod of acknowledgement. Eyes falling on Sven, his ears swept back, a light smile of gratitude flickering across his maw. With the excitement of those who had been appointed roles still fresh, he found no problem in focusing on the last bit of news, concerning the two packs in which there were Archers. One in the mountains, another by the lagoon, both of which they were on friendly terms. As a guardian, Blitz would be watchful and alert to any wolves from these packs paying a possible visit to their borders. "Noted, of course." The mention of the coyotes and the cautionary advice to not leave the territory alone made his fur bristle slightly. Though he had rarely left the Ridge as of late, he knew the threat of coyotes was still very much real beyond their home. His thoughts went to the four children. They were becoming increasingly mobile and despite the best efforts of every wolf in the pack, kids would be kids and try to sneak off. If heaven forbid they made it past the border or got too close, they could be in real danger. Brows furrowing momentarily, he shot Sven a look that plainly requested a moment of his time, later of course. |
