RE: Back to business - Ravenna - Oct 29, 2018 [dohtml] There was an uncertainty in his tone, a moment of hesitance and he then said he had not really thought about it until she had asked the question allowed. Ravenna would have hoped he liked it here. That he was not staying only because the coyotes were keeping him from traveling safely and happily elsewhere or that perhaps the only reason why he would have been staying was simply to be with her. The thought was a fleeting one yet it was still something which she couldn't help but ponder. Would he leave if things didn't turn out the way he wanted between them? These thoughts lingered but only as long as it took Blackmoore to speak up once more, adding to his first statement. His light chuckle filled the air, admitting he hadn't much time to enjoy the lands of his new home just yet with all the coyote about. He had been diligent to do his new duty as a guardian, keeping to the edges of the territory though it had yet seemed he had enjoyed all which was within. Another pause then, this a bit longer and he would go on to say just how vast his former home was, that he hadn't even a chance to fully explore it before moving on. From what she had learned of her sister and cousin, Ravenna could only think back to the vastness of Torbine and how much the Empire ruled over it. "Surely when the weather grows colder the coyotes will be forced to move on, less they starve or be the ones eaten for our own survival." Either way Ravenna was not looking forward to winter, not after all she had experienced during it. "Maybe by then you'll have the opportunity to really enjoy your home, not just the borders of it." She spoke to her friend, the large man who walked along her side in the shallows. [/dohtml] |
