Bad Influence - Kade - Mar 07, 2012

I suppose I'll continue as though Thanatos wasn't here to begin with?

Silver. He was genuinely unsure of her, himself, but she seemed to be at home here, which did well is easing his mind. Her quiet behavior seemed a contrast to the nervous natures of some of the other newcomers, and it was refreshing.

A simple nod would convey his permission for the shewolf to join the hunt, and his eyes would cut to Valiant as he spoke. It was quite humorous that he continued to be tormented by the ladies, even those who weren't stalking him across Relic Lore. Perhaps, with a little quality time and hard work spent hunting, Valiant and Silver could eventually come to see eye-to-eye.

Still, it was a fair question posed to Silver, and if she were, indeed, adept with her nose perhaps she'd like to scout out a target. The caribou were slowly but surely returning; deer were nearly always available, even in winter; even a decent-sized hog held potential. As it were, he would lead the activity if it were necessary, but the man was curious to see exactly what his packmates were capable of.

Bad Influence - SilverWintercoat - Mar 08, 2012

Silver's tail lifted and wagged a small amount. She lifted her head to look at the shedding silver male. She turned her head again to Kade, who looked rather good in health. She shifted her paws ready to go, and she lifted her nose to smell the air. She looked over at Kade seeing if he had any focused target, but he didn't say. She continued to sniff the air making sure she had taken everything in, and left not a thing unsmelled. Silver lifted her muzzle to the left where a strong smell of hog came from.

Silver at first didn't know what it was, it was the first time she had come upon one. She cocked her head as if in thought. She wondered what it was and it had the hint of prey, but she felt a weird type of conection to it. It was as if what type of thing it was played a roll in her past. She shrugged it off and walked off hopping that they would follow. She brushed past the bushes, starting to make sure she made no sound. She glanced back at the males before she disappeard into the bushes. She kept a good pace knowing, from the last hunt she had with Valaint, that Valaint was rather slow.

Silver slowed as they appraoched the scene, there was a female hog with two others and yet Silver was still confused. She wondered what it was, but shook her head. Prey was prey and that was it. She continued with her mission of scouting wondering if they new what it was, and if it was what it was. She looked back at them as they appraoched ahd she knew not the plan. The silver female didn't know what they where thinking and she cocked her head waiting to see what they would say. She motioned to the things in front of her willing them to tell her what they where. Silver wanted to know what they where up against, and how to kill them. She waited there glancing from one wolf to the other.

Bad Influence - Valiant - Mar 09, 2012

The last hunt he had shared with Silver he had taken the lead, more out of necessity than instinct. Truthfully, Valiant was a lazy wolf, and would often Houdini his way out of the most simple of tasks while ever there were others to provide for him. But the game had changed. Where he thought Rhysis intended to lead, he now found himself thrown into the fire, and what better time to start practicing providing than the present, where he didn't have to endure challenges or intruders on his borders? Perhaps his laziness was a blessing, it helped him to pinpoint each wolf's strengths and use them to his advantage. It was probably the only reason he had noticed her rather handy sense of smell. It couldn't possibly be because he was beginning to care for the wolves in his company or potentially growing up.

His eyes lit up as the hogs came into view, deceptively sharp tusks swaying threateningly from their snouts. He salivated at the thought. It would appear that Silver wasn't aware of the identity of their prey and so he whispered "Pig, boar, hog... all the same thing...watch out for the tusks, they'll rip your guts out if you blink at the wrong time, and no amount of Elettra's herbs will save you." It was obvious the beast was far too squat to allow for a throat tear to end it's life. "You have to attack from the back, crush the spine..." an eager grin crossing his face as the adrenalin began to kick in. He looked from Silver to Kade questioningly. Was this what they wanted to hunt?
