Spring has sprung - Finn - Mar 18, 2012 [dohtml] Curiosity tugged at the wolf as Valiant spoke of starting his own pack. "That sounds wonderful" the small wolf said, a soft grin forming on her slender muzzle. Her chocolate eyes looked to the clouded sky for a moment, and she could not help but wonder what it was like to be a leader of a pack. Her mother and father had, and they were quite exceptional. Feeling a pang of regret for leaving them, she immediatly shrugged away her daydreaming. "How soon do you plan on doing this?" she asked, head tilting slightly in a questioning manner. Her tail was now sway- ing to and fro. "And... sorry for askin'...but what about your old pack? What will they think? Don't want ya gettin' any more wounds...." she said this in a concerned fashion, but at her last sentence, a bit of teasing intertwined with her tones. Spring has sprung - Valiant - Mar 19, 2012 It seemed his casual conversation was paying off, but what was the correct answer? Soon? Not soon enough... a small voice whispered in the back of his mind, but he didn't let it show on his face. "Soon, we're just gathering our strength right now... and Grizzly Hollow won't miss one more male... There's plenty else going on to keep them busy..." he admitted a little wistfully. He couldn't wait much longer, and while he wasn't so intent on assuming the role of leader "That and we're yet to settle on a leading lady..." he admitted, wondering why he was being so open with this stranger, probably because she was just that, a stranger. Spring has sprung - Finn - Mar 19, 2012 [dohtml] Finn swiftly rose to her small white paws, eyes locked on Valiant. She walked around him, fascination in this wolf quite strong. "Well," she started, interest highly noticable in her voice "If you truly are to begin your own pack, I am interested." she grinned a bit, chocolate eyes glowing with warmth. Flocculent tail flicked before she looked to the forest surrounding the falls. "Would you like a rabbit or fish to eat? I'm...not sure if you're able to hunt well with those wounds. You must be hungry." she looked back to the handsome wolf, the silence following her words causing her to listen to her own soft breathing. If this wolf was to start a pack, Finn was very interested in it. This creature seemed unique, and obviously not pleased with his current pack. Perhaps if she got to know the wolf more, she could assist in the formation of the pack. But who knows what would happen. She had always dreamt of being a founder of a pack just as her parents had. Spring has sprung - Valiant - Mar 27, 2012 The small wolf had very pretty eyes he decided, and while her way of speaking was odd, it was enjoyable. "I'll keep you in mind..." he mentioned with his most charming smile. He was in no condition to be putting anything on right now, but some habits just died hard. Spring has sprung - Finn - Mar 27, 2012 [dohtml] Finn nodded her small head as the wolf told her he'd keep her in mind. She truly hoped to see this wolf named Valiant again, for she was quite interested in him. It would be a pleasure to see him again, this time in full health. Blinking, she parted her jaws but closed them as the male called her 'sweet'. She felt her tail twitch excitedly almost automatically. A slight grin creeped upon her elegant maw. "I most certainly will be looking for you again, Valiant" she cooed, a rather coy look appearing in her brown eyes. Lady Finn turned her petite frame away from the wolf, head craning to look back at him. "Them wounds better be healed by the time I see you again, you hear me?" Her voice was teasing, sweet like that of a bee's honey. |
