Oh he’d follow, close enough that her dark tail brushed his nose. Her touch and scent might not evoke the same desires in him that he knew plagued so many wolves, this time of year, but he was infatuated none the less, and eager to show her the comforts she seemed to have been without for so long.
The Captain might never find a harbor that could keep him from his travels, but he thought, perhaps, Modesto could provide another place to return to when his journey became too lonely. He’d like that, and in return, he would give her anything she asked for – she was still plenty young to achieve anything she desired, and he’d be more than happy to help her attain it.
