RE: so keep on pretending - Adora - Apr 15, 2024

Her heart had roared so loud in the moments before and yet the world seemed silent now. When the touch of Mika brushed along her cheek and a kiss on her chin, she heard nothing. Not even the wind that weaved through the mountains. Nothing existed beyond the two of them in that moment.

She was grateful that they did not pull back. Adora was too scared to admit how much she might have missed their closeness if they had gone away.

I- She exhaled, her temple pressed into Mika's forehead. Nothing I could say would be enough. How vulnerable and sappy she had become in this moment. Crumbled by a simple kiss. Crush turned puppy love by kind actions. The Macieo nearly imagined a future for the two of them now! At least she had enough sensibility to know it was childish and not something to speak aloud.

RE: so keep on pretending - Mika - Apr 16, 2024

Mika had never experienced anything like this before. Crushes were one thing - vapid and fleeting - but this felt different. They wouldn’t say it out loud, but right now, they probably would’ve done anything Adora wanted - gone anywhere she led.

The sensation was a lot, after going so long without indulging in the touch of another wolf. There were butterflies in their stomach, and they felt weightless, and most importantly - they felt safe. Nothing could come anywhere near the two of them here - nothing could ruin this moment in time.

A happy rumbling sound started in Mika’s throat and they pressed their head gently into hers, tail wagging a mile a minute behind them. It was okay that she didn’t have anything to say - they didn’t think they did, either. For now, they were content to soak up her presence and forget about everything else.
