RE: hollowed hearts - Eclypse - Jun 26, 2024 [dohtml] Was it? She shouldn't be so mean to her own name. It was practically a synonym of her grandmother's name. A grandmother who she missed so terrible right now that she nearly cried at the thought. She was too tired for that, though. So she only nodded softly before she tucked her head against her own legs. I... She knew eventually she'd be missed. Maybe they would all be too busy, though. Maybe her father would take another trip and the cycle would continue. It was a cruel thought that settled heavily in her tired mind. I don't think so. No. No. Her heart felt just as heavy as her head. fade for something more up to date? <3
RE: hollowed hearts - Morven - Jun 26, 2024 She laid her head down and looked... so sad. Morven didn't know why - didn't know if it was even his place to ask. Instead, he just laid his head on his own paws, mirroring her, and let his eyes drift halfway shut. They were in the same boat, then. Both with nowhere to go, and maybe no one to go back to. Morven had wanted to go back, or to try, but his aunt's warning echoed in his skull. There will be nothing for you there when you return. Maybe it was the same for Eclypse. Maybe things were a little different. All Morv could do was offer some sort of solidarity. "Well," he said with a crooked smile, tail thumping the ground once more. "Maybe we can have nowhere to go together." |
