With her words, Sloane went from wandering loner to dedicated pack wolf. The change somehow seemed to flow easily as Lady Aeylen spoke. The timing had been perfect and he was more than ready for the next phase of his life. While he hoped to see the wolves that he had met recently again, he looked forward to meeting the rest of his new pack. He hoped that Lady Aeylen's mate was pleased with him as a new addition and he promised himself to do all that he could to win his confidence.
With a soft nip to his chin, the confident female led the way into her territory and as he stepped across the invisible border, Sloane felt a blanket of rightness settle upon him. This was what he was meant for, this was where he was meant to be.
