Thoughts of hidden lakes and lost sisters spun around in the boy's mind, a tantalizing promise of adventure. Ash looked a little suspicious of Rais, on edge at what he had said. Rais wasn't sure in what way his ambiguous statement had been taken, but he didn’t mind causing a little confusion. Having no respect for boundaries, personal or otherwise, he stepped, then leaned forward on the tips of his toes and pressed his nose into Ash’s shoulder. Quickly, he took a deep breath of Ash’s pelt, then hopped back away, again out of reach. A deceptivly innocent smile curved his lips. He’d be able to follow his scent now for sure. Rais’ only excuse was, “You smell like you need a bath.” If he seemed like a nut, that was fine. It hopefully would distract suspicion away from his true intentions, in sneaking up to the man’s home.

“And, good day, sir!” With a brisk farewell and one last look at the perturbed male, Rais spun around, half frolicking, half running in a vulpine gait away from Ash, towards the mountains. There was only so much havoc he could wreak on a wolf before they snapped.

(Ooc: Just as a heads up, Rais next thread is with Treena in Lost Lake if Ash wants to stick his nose in there, you could check with Minou)

OOC: I will be sure to ask Minou about that. <3

His eyes remained on the male that was in front of him and watched him carefully. Soon enough, the other male’s nose pressed into his fur, and it reminded him briefly of the first time he had met Treena. When they had met, she seemed to have wanted to remember him, and inhaled his scent, pretty much the whole time they were together. It had been quite funny and cute of her but it didn’t seem as though anything was going to change, but then it did. They had fallen in love with one another and now they were mates. . .the thoughts made him smile.

It seemed Rais was going to take his leave, so with a brisk nod, he too departed, back to where he belonged. Poison Path would be waiting for him, along with the borders. Hopefully, his choice to join a pack had been a wise one. His thick tail wagged behind him, as he made his way back into the mountains.
