The Edge - Follko - Dec 20, 2012 [dohtml] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/bluepups/follko-table.png); [/dohtml]background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:260px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px;"> Follko flicked his ear as Renier agreed to head out and find Follko a little meal. One ear still listening to the two ladies Follko turned his orange gaze back to them. Surprise clung to the one good side of his face when Sibyl spoke about how she and Aniu had chased a bobcat off.
Bobcats could be dangerous, Follko knew this from long time experience within his old pack. They had many bobcats where they lived and it was only a constant patrol along their borders which fended off most of the wiser bobcats. The old man knew that normally a smart bobcat would run away from two wolves no matter the wolves sizes. It was just bad luck that Borden and himself had found a very stupid bobcat that ignored wolf borders. Nonetheless Follko was proud of the little lady in front of him.
"That's great Sibyl, you two did well. Maybe the females should be watching out for bobcats instead of us males.." He chuckled some then looked to his left keeping his head still as Shadowstorm applied some nasty smelling stuff to his face. Follko observed how the yellowish stuff stuck to his face so easily. Plus how it smelled almost like that of some flower that he could not remember the name of. Then he nodded agreeing to the black wolfs comment. "Indeed it has been..."
Word of the Day--- ------ RE: The Edge - Shadowstorm - Dec 26, 2012 Shadowstorm looked upon the group and saw how Follko did not seem to like the fact of the herbs on his face, but they had to stay there. ”Try not to wipe off the herbs, the smell is a bit annoying at times but it is necessary for you to be fully functional again.” She said, her eyes slightly amused, and of course, she really was curious of pack life of them. ”Follko, if you don't mind my asking, how the hell did you get so injured and why were you gone for so long. I've been wondering it since you were found and I cannot bring myself to figure it out by myself.” She said in a questioning tone. Shadow's eyes panged with the mysterious wonder on where the hell he'd gone and why he returned to be so injured. Now that he was back, he could possibly help her get to know some of the pack more. Of course that is after she's done healing him. ”Also, if Lady Jaysyek allows, I might leave for some time to get proper healing training from Nina. I saw her a while back and we're still friends. She offered to train my, just need to get permission. Pack life is odder then I thought, but still much better then my past life.” She said admittedly. Her eyes turned and looked at Sybil, she had to admit she was a bit surprised, but Follko seemed pleased she took the bobcat on and beat it. Was his head screwed up, any wolf could have been killed by a bobcat. Though she guessed that they'd do anything to protect the pack that is loved by thy members. With a giggle at Follko's comment, she settled her rear down on the snow, deciding she'd stick around for a while. Reiner had slipped off to catch something, and she offered him a smile and a "Good Luck," as he disappeared into the forest. It was nice to finally be able to trust the young ones more or less on their own now, but Sibyl kept an ear tilted back to listen, just in case he might run into trouble.
Sibyl watched curiously as Shadowstorm pressed the foul smelling muck on to Follko's cheek. Sibyl thought that getting your face ripped open by a bobcat looked bad enough, but the medicine it took to patch up afterwards seemed to add insult to injury. She knew he needed it, and hoped that the herbs would work, but she would really have to be careful the next time she ran into a bobcat or anything else with claws and teeth. She certainly didn't want to be stuck in a lonely den with weird stinky stuff on her face.
Sibyl realized she really didn't get out much, having no idea who the other healer Shadowstorm spoke of was. She wondered who Nina was, and considered for a moment that it might impolite to ask. Feeling a tiny bit bold, she decided to speak up, "Who's Nina?" RE: The Edge - Follko - Jan 08, 2013 [dohtml] He was not surprised when Shadowstorm asked about his diappearance. Follko only nodded and closed his eyes when she finished.
"Well I never knew you had some information on herbs for medicinal use. I knew I was getting sick, that the infection was getting worse. So I left Grizzly Hollow to search for someone who would be able to heal me. I would have come back sooner had I been able to move normally, but the infection eating my reserves only allowed me to travel slowly back here.."
Follko simply listened on afterward while Sibyl spoke. He wasn't sure who Nina was either. With a curious look to Shadowstorm he waited for her to answer. His eyes growing heavy with tiredness. Follko was likely to pass out soon in his comfy dirt nest.
RE: The Edge - Renier - Feb 03, 2013 [dohtml] Stupid squirrel! His teeth ground, and he wiped his paw over his tender nose where it smarted. He had been a hair breath from him, then he had hit tree instead of squirrel. The anger oh it bubbled in his throat, and made his lips raise. He couldn't go back with nothing. He just couldn't. |
