RE: Seperate - Simaea - Jul 13, 2013

Simaea let her mind wander for a few moments. She listened to the trees, as the wind played through their branches and made a hymn. A song that spoke to her soul and soothed her mind, it said, "We are here and always shall be." It was almost as if she could hear the voices of her parents, and lost brother, coupled with the voices of Whisper Caverns. It further calmed her and she lay her head upon her paws, Keith was not her true father but Simaea felt that he would be something of a figure to help her through. His wisdom far outweighed hers and he was understanding of her. She had shared with him and in turn he had not given her ridicule nor hate. But love and kindness.

She began to drift off to sleep having been exhausted by her ordeal and wondered whether or not she should head back to the cavern. In the end she did not move she faded off to sleep to dream of happy times. Hunts that she would be a part of, friends she would make, the pups that would arrive and all the good things that could happen. Until her episode of sorrow became a memory. For the first time in a long time Simaea Nite was able to sleep soundly without hearing a wolf in her dreams that wanted her to die. Her outpouring to Keith had done more for the healer than one could have ever imagined. So she slept happily and quietly with no fidgets, and no whines.

RE: Seperate - Kieth - Jul 17, 2013

I did it again, Ghoff. I'm so sorry -_-
And yeah, short ending post is short :c

The grey male half closed his eyes as he listened to their surroundings; it was peaceful and quiet. Yet there was also the whisper of a breeze whipping through the branches of the trees overhead. It was like soft music to his ears, slow and calming, like the ocean waves crashing upon the sand of a beach. His pale grey eyes opened fully and he looked at Simaea; her past was scabrous, but she had gotten through it, and he was glad for that. The feelings he had for the black fae was purely fatherly, he looked at her like a daughter of his own, and hoped that she saw him as a fatherly figure. He was much too old to gain a mate, but the closest he could have to children of his own was Simaea, even though they weren't blood related. There was much more than blood in a relationship with another: love, loyalty, kindness, and even hatred in some cases.

Looking at the black yearling, Kieth saw her brown eyes flutter closed and her breathing slow down; she was sleeping. A smile showed on his face as he stared at her sleeping form. It seemed that she was sleeping much easier now, after she had told her secret to him. Cuddling closer without disturbing Simaea, they grey male rested his head on his large paws and closed his eyes. The silence around them made it easy to fall asleep, and when he did his dreams were of happy things. Everything was peaceful and quiet for Kieth and Simaea.
